US President Donald Trump has said he could declare a national emergency to build a US-Mexico border wall without the approval of Congress.

It came after he met senior Democrats, who refused his requests for funding the wall.

The stand-off has seen Mr Trump withhold support for a bill to fully fund the government until he gets money for the border wall.

He said he was prepared for the partial government shutdown - now in its third week - to last years.

Around 800,000 federal workers have been without pay since 22 December.

This funding for border security is part of a larger budget that Congress is trying to pass. The impasse has led to a partial government shutdown that began on 22 December.


Democrats who now control the House of Representatives have passed bills to fund the government but flatly refused to provide the $5.6bn Trump wants for the wall, which Speaker Nancy Pelosi has called “immoral” and which most experts believe would be ineffective.
Trump wants a secure border with a wall helping in that policy.

Did you think Mexico was going to write us a check? Trump never said that. Stop listening to mainstream media who is stringing you along for ratings, dear.

The money we will save replacing NAFTA with the new USMCA deal will pay for it. Did opposition media even report that Trump got rid of NAFTA, another promise kept?

We can charge fees on remittances sent out of the country. We can charge more for visas. That would pay for the wall in a few months.

We pay $18.5B just for illegals' health care every year. The border barrier will pay for itself! Why don't you want Americans to benefit from their own money?

The lunar eclipse on January 21 located to the White House falls on the MC/IC axis with tRump's natal Saturn on the MC and transit Uranus on the Desc.

The Nadir is at 294°03'. Eclipse Pluto at 293°01' is on it. So is the eclipse Sun/Saturn midpoint at 293°59'. It is also the point where the Sun, Saturn, and Pluto will meet next January 13th (2020).

I think it signals the significant change in the way the loser is going to be treated by first the Congress and media and eventually his "base" this year presaging his removal. Given his body image and lifestyle the year's stress events could bring on health failures strong enough to force that removal.

A couple of things in the news in the past few days which are building up to this very important eclipse. A very dangerous one for some people. Looks as if he is going to be impacted according to your great astrology analysis.

With Democrats now controlling the lower chamber of Congress, the White House is about to be hit with a torrent of document demands and subpoenas from a half dozen committees.

Democrats promised to demand answers on his personal taxes, foreign business dealings, family charity, and other areas beyond the Russia investigation.
