Al Gore - a ram or a rat?

A thread about vice president Al Gore (1993-2001) and almost won the 2000 US presidential campaign, but lost to George W Bush by the electoral college. In western astrology, he's an Aries and a ram (a natural leader, excellent in power and would make an ideal president). But in Chinese astrology, he's born in 1948 - the year of the rat (the opposite of all traits) and his opponents call him "born in the year of the Rat" to spoof supporters who view him as tough as a ram.

Al Gore is both an Aries and an Earth Rat. Earth Rat is loyal and likes working with people who also are loyal. He's not one to change jobs often. He likes to maintain long term working relationships. He can zero in on one subject at a time and is very thorough in his work. He cares very much for his public reputation.

,He's not as much a gambler as the Aries might be. He believes in the "golden rule."
Rats are "reputed to be an excellent writer. ....a good memory and is incredibly inquisitive. He loves to investigate. A reporter par excellence , he is good at keeping records ....is at his best during a crisis." (Theodora Lau, Handbook of Chinese Astrology.)

But of course, the natal horoscope chart should bear out all his traits both positive and negative.
As with most Sun-Lunar sign readings, there will be some conflicts. So as I said, in my opinion, the last word is the natal chart.
