My 8th house

My 8th house ruler is Saturn...

Which is opposing Mars (7º) and squaring Neptune (Partile) and it's in the 10th house in Taurus. And in mutual reception by exaltation with the Moon. So will all of the 4,320,000 children born between my birthday and the day when Saturn stops opposing Mars die from a horrible and violent death? (Considering the average children born a day divided by 6 or 2/12 which are children born with the 8th house cusp in Aquarius or Capricorn)

Sounds like genicide almost. That's scary ish right there. I think in my "newbie" opinion that the 8th can also mean change in a good way. Mine is Moon/Leo/8th, I have had some MAJOR close calls with death, but also some great transformation has occurred in my life. Maybe what it's all pointing to is these specific children will change the way the world is run, like a movement era.

Like I said "newbie" lol don't Butcher me too bad. :innocent:

good point well made
because Julian
your claim amounts to nor more than wildly generalising without doing the research
i.e.
without checking an Ephemeris

by the way there's a free 9000 year ephemeris available online at
http://www.astro.com/swisseph/swepha_e.htm

keep in mind Julian that your natal MARS IS RETROGRADE

and so
eighteen days after your day of birth Mars perfected opposition to Saturn
then continued retrograding, going back into Libra at the beginning of May

and so from May onwards
Mars was then in Libra and no longer opposing Saturn in Taurus

Mars then went direct in Libra at the beginning of June
and Mars only returned to Taurus at the beginning of July

and so
for two months/sixty days between May and July, Mars was not opposing Saturn
so none of the those people born during those sixty days, have a natal mars saturn opposition

Mars then ingressed to Sagittarius at the beginning of September
so your estimated "4,320,000 children born" requires considerable revision
which is likely to be excellent practice for your current exams

I took in account all the number of average children born from the April 1st to the day when Mars was 7 degrees away from Saturn again. And it's 4 million people. Also you have to take in account that there were still a lot of babies born until the day where the aspect is perfected. Conclusion: You have to take more things into account.

Let's have an example here:

Elvis Presley died at age 42 because of a heart attack in a bath tub. Sure, his 8th house ruler is the Moon in Pisces (related to water) but how many children were born with a Pisces Moon as the 8th house ruler? Millions! And I'm pretty sure that a lot of children were born with that!

I mean death in a natal chart has got to be a lot more complicated than that. I don't think I will die brutally just like a lot of children born with their 8th house ruler badly aspected. Also some stuff might be contradictory. My part of death is in a grand trine, between the Ascendant and Mercury.

Meanwhile Elvis's Part Of Death is squaring the Sun, suggesting the heart failure.

Also I forgot to mention that the modern ruler of my 8th house is Uranus, which is in rulership, sextiling Sun and Jupiter, squaring Mars and trining Moon. Which ruler should I consider? Saturn or Uranus?

That definitely doesn't mean you will die violently. I don't think I will either. Astrology is way too general sometimes so you have to look where your Part of Death is. Mine is well aspected so I think it's balanced out.

This is going to sound very "virgin to astrology" but how would one go about finding the (part of death) mentioned previously.

Part of Death is Traditional Astrology
AL BIRUNI'S LIST OF PARTS Compiled by Deborah Houlding
http://www.skyscript.co.uk/alparts.html

Scrolling down the page to 8th House we find:
Death = Degree of Saturn + Cusp of 8th - Moon

next you need a FREE arabic parts calculator
http://libracentre.com/arabic_parts_chart.php

However
keep in mind that
not unexpectedly
different astrologers favor different 'Parts of Death'
and so
on the FREE arabic parts calculator
the part of death is Ascendant + Cusp of 8th - Moon

by the way
if you are interested in the astrology of death
then MORALITY OF PREDICTING DEATH thread is an interesting read
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=64628

an obvious spin-off from that thread is the
RELATIONSHIPS AND MORALITY OF PREDICTING THOSE IN NATAL AS WELL AS HORARY ASTROLOGY
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68195

clearly then if one reads these threads, one discovers that death can be a dodgy subject for some

HYLEG AND ALCOCODEN discusses the subject of death as well
