I don't mind argument, but at least with regard to the political threads I've literally seen the same kind of arguments being rehashed for going on 10 years on various internet forums, some of which allowed extremely NSFW content. It gets boring after the first few years, especially when it isn't backed up by any remedial action.

I think the trad/mod landscape has evolved immensely the passed decade.

Leomoon, at this point I'm agnostic regarding the reincarnation. I've personally not found anything that would tip the balance to believing or disbelieving in the phenomenon. I believe there will come one day when I really sit down and look at the current research out there on reincarnation, but as it stands right now I'm not so compelled.

I think some people can use the argument of reincarnation to justify the rough hand that they have been dealt in life.... making their lives more tolerable since it's contextualise with a reasonable and noble meaning. But what if the suffering is not grounded in some grand karmic design but is more arbitrary? Would people still be able to tolerate the negative events in their lives?

I don't believe in one lifetime, then another in an arrow sort of way. Not at all, but I understand what you are saying, I'm agnostic myself, and not married to any one particular concept. Always try to be open to ideas.

Suppose if I had said Thomas Jefferson & his re-incarnation born in this century, exist on parallel timelines. Would that make the concept more palatable? Chronos: Navigating Parallel Timelines

One way to think about parallel timelines is to think of them as echoes of one's own timeline. At regular intervals, an exact duplicate of the past exists at each multiple of the temporal cycle. (See Applications of Nine-dimensional Theory for more information about temporal cycles.)

There's a persistent view that the Aquarian Age will affect our linear time consciousness (with time as we know it being 4th dimensional) and enable us to shift into a 5th dimension, where it's not linear.

If that's the case, might be more than just a little confusing at first!

This line of thought makes a lot of sense!

Yes it makes sense to me too. It is sad thinking that, in some other parallel universe, one version of me is having all the worst luck in the world and yet, another, more luck than I could ever imagine.

I know in this life line, help is supposed to come to me 'just in time.' So it is the best of both I suppose.

Not sure where this one will fit in, BUT, its worth watching, especially if you care about the Minimum Wage paid in the United States.

What we need is another like Senator Kennedy. JFK, RFK and Teddy were not "perfect human beings", anymore then MLK was, BUT, they proved they cared about the everyday common man and woman:

Here he shows it, fighting in the Senate for a raise from $5.50 to 7.50 per hour over a 2 year period. Its wonder, watching this through, that he didn't give himself a heart attack!

:w00t: Wonderful representative "of the common people"

Shifting the Tamplin / Barbour conversation here leomoon because the posts on the other thread might get deleted, even if their diffusion pattern was very neptunian!

The above thread is funny because you and I also have a Moon - Jupiter connection. Where is your Moon, incidentally? My Jupiter is in 1st decan Leo.

26°Leo40' ...Jupiter in Scorpio 21:53 deg. :surprised: I didn't know Noel Tyl's site is still around - that's good, since he died too a few years ago. He also lived in Arizona, not too far from me but I never met him except on his site.

Your Jupiter conjunct my Uranus! I learn a lot from you here.

All about dead people and dead astrologers, lol - I'll be next in line. :w00t: Hope its in my sleep. I'm ready to go otherwise. I thought he really did look like a talented singer:
Noel Jan Tyl (December 31, 1936 – December 31, 2019) was an American humanistic astrologer and writer of many books on the subject. In the 1960s and 70s he was a bass-baritone opera singer who was particularly noted for his Wagnerian roles.

Note: He passed on his 83rd Solar Return - probably planned the date down to the hour!

And just 2 months prior, Barbault died along with his wife- He was 98 yrs old?

"He died on 8 October 2019, a few hours after the death of his wife."

hmmmm. Maybe that will be when we pass a decent living wage in the United States beyond $7.50 per hour (before taxes & SS costs)
Wouldn't that be super!

Probably will need $20.00 per hour just to rent an apartment on full time wages by 2026 easily. Perhaps $30.00

We have what I call slave wages in this country, which Ted Kennedy the late Senator from Massachusetts raged on about and finally had it changed in 2007- (a full 14 years ago) We need another like Ted Kennedy. Senator Bernie Sanders comes close - imo -

Jupiter trines Venus and Uranus - and it shows in that video:
