Which planet represents the traditional father role/figure? Saturn or Sun?

Saturn represents authority as a concept, work as a concept, suffering as a concept, poverty as a concept, failure as a concept, trials as a concept, insensitivity as a concept.

Sun represents the traditional king archetype/role/figure, playing as a concept, drama as a concept, games as a concept, children as a concept.

I cannot tell who represents the traditional father figure/role. We all know the moon (cancer) represents the traditional mother archetype/role/figure, seeing as cancer is the sign of nurturing, sensitivity, and home-life. Capricorn is the opposite sign of cancer, which heavily implies that it is the sign of the traditional father role/figure.

The sun does seem to relate to the traditional father figure archetype as it represents the king archetype, which relates to authority, but kings have authority over the masses or a great populous. Saturn represents authority as in the concept itself, which is very different.

Despite this, I have still been told by many that the sun = the father and saturn doesn't, does anyone know? Thanks
