What type of Father and Son relationship will they have in the future?

His Father will possibly be making an exit from prison soon, after serving 20 years,they had no contact during his incarceration as his mother kept him away,and now they do have a relationship,but it seems there will be alot of problems(Obviously) because of so much time lost,they want to be in each other's life,and will things be good for them in the future? Or has too much time passed?

Father is 3/31/1966

Son is 7/7/1988

I brought up a composite, and on first glance it doesn't look good for them.there is a T-square with mercury opposed to Uranus and square to Saturn. this is a classic pattern of turbulence between the father and son.
ixion is conjunct to Uranus and square to Saturn. this shows the insensitivity of the father and his life of antisocial tendencies. orcus is square to nessus which is also a mean and uncaring conjunction.
venus is conjunct the node so there is this intuitive feeling that things will go well. but the node and Venus can turn around to hate as easy as it symbolizes love. Jupiter is trine to Saturn so it seems the dad has good intentions. but his trine is not enough to change the arguments and disagreements that will likely evolve. the moon is opposed to the Uranus/satrun midpoint which bodes the mom will not be helpful as they have long lasting problems.
Saturn is sextile to mars and the midpoint is square to Jupiter, so there may be some positive interactions and the dad may try to help his son when he can but the tsquare indicates that the tension between them and between the dad and mom will preclude a close relationship
