Ascendant and its decan

I have Ascendant in Gemini within Libra decan.

I wonder if the Libra decan affects your appearance as I do not fit a lot of the characteristics of a Gemini rising (lanky, thin). i am very curvy (32ddd bust and big round bottom, small waist).

I've also always looked older than my age (probably due to being an early bloomer). Hopefully, I look youthful when I'm older.

Your chart ruler Mercury is in Capricorn in the 8th house. afflicted by Jupiter.

Mercury being in Capricorn would likely be the reason why you look a older than your age.

It's also possible that the affliction to Jupiter could have something to do with being curvy. Often jupiter will give height to the native as well.. but with the affliction it could make a native shorter possibly.

Gemini ASC doesn't have to be thin but I definitely think decan can play a big role. The first decan is the most typical. My sister and I are both Leo Risings but I have a more typical Leo appearance since I'm Leo decan and she has many features of Aries Rising as she is Aries decan. I also agree with ashriia that the ruler is important.

How did you find that out from my chart? "Your chart ruler Mercury is in Capricorn in the 8th house. afflicted by Jupiter. "

And is there a reverse in aging with a placement like that? Thanks:smile:
