What constitutes as a poorly placed planet? Is it its location or aspects or what?

Your dad is someone that was strict and aggressive on one side,
but he seems to me as a person that loves his family,
but he couldn't express it.
That's a generalised statement that is safe because
it applies to hundreds of millions of dads worldwide
and yet all those dads have children who have different natal charts
His relationship with your mothervwasn't good right?
Another very general statement that could apply to at least 50% of marriages
Your mother probably was the one working all day in your family right?
A mother 'working all day in your family' is another generalised statement
that applies to the vast majority of families

How is the moon in detriment in capricorn?

Because moon is in domicile in Cancer and by being in Capricorn it is as far from being in domicile as it can ever be and is considered the sign least suited for lunar expression. I kind of think their expression is kind of "backwards" or "unintuitive" (though not in the same way that retrograde planets are 'backwards').

Both my parents are capricorns, I blame this on them!lol
Detriment is a traditional astrological term based on THE ESSENTIAL DIGNITIES TABLE OF THE PLANETS
I posted an ESSENTIAL DIGNITIES TABLE earlier on in this thread
Find CAPRICORN symbol on the Table, then read the headings of each column
until you find the heading Detriment
then note that for CAPRICORN the Moon is in detriment

i.e.

Her Sun is in the 4th house of home and family, using the Whole-signs house system.
That is incorrect and misleading information
because
Not unexpectedly, the whole sign house system counts WHOLE SIGNS

therefore
because the Ascendant is Sagittarius

and
because in whole sign houses
the Ascendant sign is also the first WHOLE SIGN HOUSE

then
the second whole sign house of this natal chart is obviously CAPRICORN

and so
the third whole sign house of this natal chart is obviously AQUARIUS

and furthermore
the fourth whole sign house of this natal chart is therefore PISCES

and now we realise that:
the FIFTH whole sign house of this natal chart is then indubitably ARIES
The 4th house starts in Aries so Aries becomes the 4th house.
Not when using WHOLE SIGN HOUSES as I have just elucidated

There are some expressions in english that I am not sure to understand very well
That's why online dictionaries can be useful
Now regarding "what constitutes a poorly placed planet?" ~

Planets are placed in SIGNS and also in HOUSES

A planet may be well-placed by SIGN
but poorly placed by HOUSE

and/or vice versa

Hey JUPITER if my astrological readings are generalised then why don't you interpret OP's chart? I know I was being somewhat general because I just looked at one part of the natal chart.

When I had posted a while back, I was trying to locate in my chart what I have been looking for concerning my sons…My Sun is in 5th House (Sag) combust Jupiter (Placidus)---when I use Koch-- Saturn in Capricorn is also in 5th House…I lost both my sons (and only children)---several yrs ago.
I think Koch probably is more accurate for me….I welcome opinions
