Ayanamshas in Sidereal Astrology

Good overview about traditional and modern ayanamshas. Including the state of the art. The most meaningful lesson I got from this: The Babylonian zodiac and the Nedic Nakshatras used different ayanamshas. The fist used the fixed star Aldebaran, the second the Galactic-Ecliptic node.

I don't understand why this thread was moved. Ayanamshas have been a subject of Western Astrology since Cyril Fagan started it.

for the discussion of WESTERN SIDEREAL ASTROLOGY
Several members have requested a WESTERN SIDEREAL BOARD :smile:
