Red coral vs Ruby?

I have a small question, I'm trying to learn astrology on my own in bits & pieces and figuring out things. So my ascendant is cancer and therefore Mars becomes yogakaraka and so I can wear red coral. Now, could someone clearly specify what's the benefit of wearing red coral in right hand ring finger and ruby in left hand ring finger versus ruby in right hand ring finger and red coral in left hand ring finger. This is purely on the basis of career prospect and sun and Mars both are sitting together along with mercury in the 4th house. Also sun being the highest degree holder in the entire chart.
