ascendant confusion

hi!!i did my my chart calculation and my ascendant came out to be 29.5 degrees virgo....the problem is that i am changing into libra ascendant in just 39 sec from my birth time...how can i be sure that my ascendant is virgo and not libra ........

You can verify your ascendant by pursuing an analysis of important events that occurred in your life for example marriage, writing an entrance exam and clearing it successfully etc...

I too had confusions reg my ascendant and I will tell you how I confirmed. I approached a Nadi astrologer who normally takes your finger print and draws your natal chart without asking any questions on your birth date and time.
