Grand Cross Help-Please!

Hi. If anyone can offer me any help dealing with the Grand Cross in my chart it will be deeply appreciated. I am a sixty-one-year-old female and have been "beaten down" somewhat by the grand cross, but have tried to "hang in there". However, I am now pretty much ready to "give up" and isolate myself "from the world", as I don't seem to be making any progress in dealing with people/the world. Thanks in advance for any and all information, insights, and/or help anyone may have to offer.

Birth info: February 7, 1952 at 7:33 p.m., Birmingham, Alabama.

Hi Miss Dee! I'm responding to your thread because of my interest in grand crosses, my daughter has a fixed grand cross, however I am really not very knowledgeable to be of much assistance. From what I have read, this gives problems initiating and accomplishing goals.

I would look at the aspects it makes to get a better picture of the configuration.
It's 4 squares and 2 oppositions to make the cross. You have Saturn in Libra H2 making an opposition to Jupiter in aries H7 (almost H8 really, most astrologers would read that as such.) The other opposition you have is moon and uranus conjunct in cancer H10 opposing mercury in Capricorn H4. The squares are saturn H2 square mercury H4, again almost next house. Mercury square jupiter H7/8. Jupiter square moon and uranus H10 (moon almost in H11.) And of course Moon and Uranus square Saturn H2.

Now what I would do is individually look up and get a general understanding of each aspect to try to put it together.

Here are a couple of links on Grand Crosses: http://www.indigoray.net/grandcross.html

Hope that helped some.
