Vedic and Western Astrology Differences

I need to know in Vedic Astrology believe in remedial measures such as

1. Wearing gemstones to favorable planets to get their blessings.

2. Doing good deeds.

3. By Mantras

4. Worshiping gods that belongs to the planets.

Does Western Astrology believe in these? And why?

No-since the early Middle Ages, Western astrology has developed as a strictly analytical and predictive (or electional) tool. However, in ancient Western astrology a large number of "fate modifying" practices and techniques were applied; the last vestige of such practices in the West can be found in the production of amulets and talismans (up to the Renaissance period)-for a website devoted to these matters, go to renaissanceastrology.com.
