My ascendant is Sagittarius, to be honest NOT once in my life anything about it fit me, predictions wise and personality traits. On the other hand, I see myself (when reading the monthly predictions) that Capricorn is exactly me, sometimes even more than my sun sign, Scorpio. Why is that? Am I a Capi ascendant, or no I should stick with my Sagittarius? I don't understand will anyone help!
Usually errors in birth time are that they are recorded late, rather than too early [before the child is born]. Like, in the excitement of the birthing process, parties overseeing the birth forgot to record it for while. So it is more likely that an early degree ascending point is actually in the
previous sign, rather than a late ascending point, like yours, being in the next sign.
Of course, that said, it is still possible, say, that a typo was made entry of the hour.
I would also add that monthly predictions for a single sign may not hit the mark because of their generic nature, and that as you come to understand your chart more fully you may come to feel that the rising sign fits.
Some things you might wish to explore for your own edification would be if the sign on the cusps of the other houses make any sense, or resonate in your life? That might be helpful in ascertaining if the ascendant is correct. Also, you might want to explore the ruler of your Ascendant. Its condition, aspects, house location may tell you a lot about how the ascendant manifests in your life. If Jupiter does not fully or easily express itself and if it has connections with Saturn or planets in the sign of Capricorn, that may explain why you feel more like a Capricornian than Sagittarian rising.
Added later: And looking at your chart briefly, we see that Jupiter is in the sign traditionally ruled by Saturn. And that your ascendant ruler, if it is Jupiter, is squared by your Sun, making them somewhat at odds [addressing how Saturn-ruled Jupiter might feel stronger to you than even your Scorpio Sun]. All kind of quick and dirty analysis, but that is the gist of it.
Anyway, just a few things to consider.
