HOW is This Virgo...??

Hi!!!

I recently met a guy (just an acquaintance!) who was telling me how he and his wife enjoyed an open marriage, because he craved "variety" sexually....then he told me he was a VIRGO, and my mouth nearly hung open! Lol!!

He has a Gemini moon for sure, and his Chiron is in Gemini (I have found Chiron to influence Virgo much more than Mercury does, with the MANY Virgos I know), and he probably has a Leo Venus and Mars....but that's the extent of what I know about his chart (and I don't want to be weird and ask for more birth info - Lol!).

My question is, of course, HOW CAN THIS BE...??? (Haha!)

I could see how ANY OTHER sign could accept and want numerous sexual partners, and be ok with their SO having other sexual partners, but absolutely not Virgo!!!!

Is the Gemini craving for variety THAT strong??

Hi LisaDiane,

A lot of novice astrologers make that mistake.

He has a Gemini moon for sure, and his Chiron is in Gemini...

Chiron is of no value, but Mercury is. Moon and Mercury, along with Ascendant Ruler and planets in H1 determine a person's intellect and moral values.

Since Mercury rules Virgo, and Moon is there, you'll probably want to look at what aspects they make to each other, to other planets and the Ascendant.

I could see how ANY OTHER sign could accept and want numerous sexual partners, and be ok with their SO having other sexual partners, but absolutely not Virgo!!!!

Signs have little to do with it. The sooner you learn that, the better you'll be.

You can start by looking at the chart of Linda Lovelace, a porno star with a Virgo Sun most noted for her role in the film Deep Throat.

You can never make generalizations based on one's Sun sign. You always need to see the entire chart.

Liz Greene writes about one of the shadows of the Virgo archetype being "the harlot."

Virgo is an earth sign. Think "earthy."

I have two adult sun-Virgo children. Neither of them is a player, so far as Mom knows, but they definitely have an earthier sense of humor and speech, generally, than I do.

Forget the prim & proper stereotype.
