Indicators of musical talent/ the 12th house

Hi! Could anyone tell me if there're any indicators of musical talent (singing ) in my natal chart? How three planets in the 12th house influence the whole chart?
If I moved to another country...would it make things any better for me to achieve success in the performing arts (change of the aspects to MC, Ascendant) ?

I'd be really grateful if anyone could answer my questions

I am just a beginner but I had a similar interest sometime back and read on it. I see the Neptune in Capricorn is there. It surely shows that musical/singing penchant..and believe me I have it I know how it feels, we can get really excellent at it. Venus in Taurus gives you the wonderful beautiful voice. Whether you use it for public speakin or singing, I am sure you must have impressed many.

Sun in Pisces (like me), yes very creative, plus it is accentuated by the Jupiter in the same house.Lucky you!
With that Mercury in Aquarius,do you write your own songs and appear quite original/a little bit eccentric/out of the box to your friends or people around? Or atleast you aspire to write unique or songs about hopes/dreams... ?

I also think your Asc Taurus, and Jupiter in Aries will help you to persevere. It seems like they will make your 'action' beneficial- of course if you plan well before you do anything...

I am not sure but apparently Saturn in capricorn in the 9th near your MC is a good sign with that Mars and Neptune in 9th as well, I wonder if travels for that will be there.... and whether it means that will discipline you will achieve what needs to be..

Like I said, you need expert advice. I am just making little beginner's observations...

Wow! Thanks for your reply and the analisis of my chart and yes, it helps! For the beginner, you've got a great knowledge of the subject, but still I have many doubts concerning the 12th house and lack of planets in the 10th (only Vesta) and 5th house (only Lilith).
I feel strong need to express myself, my emotions in any artistic way. Yes, I try writing songs ( for me, quite original ones, some resembles a stream of a subconscious ). I dance, play the piano, but above all I sing and that's what really matters to me. Just sometimes I wonder if it all works and I'll be noticed some day... Of course, I won't stand still and wait, Mars in MC equals action!

The charts have expired. Get one done on Astrodienst with your transits and progressions, they are free and load it here. They are a lot clearer than charts from other sites as well.

Venus your chart ruler in Taurus can give a pleasant singing voice for sure. However your chart does not indicate a big career in music really. You may be drawn to songs of faith or gospel and experimenting with electronic equipment. Your Moon in Libra in the 6th of work is in trine to Mercury in Aquarius in the 11th. You can be involved in a group and may have some success with that. THe 12th house deals with behind the scenes, dreams and fantasies and photography. You may be involved in the set design or stage sets or creating flyers and advertising material for your band perhaps.....ethnic songs and dance.....you may work abroad at some time.

Thanks a lot Claire for your interpretation. Above all, I'll keep on trying to make my dreams come true and sing professionally, but for sure I won't be greatly interested in performing songs of faith or gospel...rather r&b, soul or rock/pop and I prefer singing solo. Although I have three planets in the 12th house, I don't consider myself shy, antisocial person, willing to work behind the scenes... I'm rather strong-willed individual who really enjoys performing, being in the center of attention and playing first fiddle. Maybe, there exists some kind of conflict between my desires and possibilities (at least for this life). Anyway thanks for your analysis!

You have calculated your chart using the default on astro.com of placidus and I use Equal House system and am a modern astrologer. Lots of people that come into Astrology get their free charts calculated at www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all that there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few more.

Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

It's only with study and research will you be able to assess where your planets are deposited and in which houses... thus see which 'glove fits'

Career options are assessed by MC any planets conjunct, where the ruler of MC is placed, it’s aspects, then 2nd house ‘how you earn your money’ and planets there, ruler of cusp and where it’s placed, then 6th house of ‘type of work you do’ any planets there and how they are aspected.

your stellium in Cappi would be placed in 8th house, but mars/neptune conj 9th house cusp would be more effective and interpreted in 9th house.

this mars/neptune dissipates energies and may cause hard to diagnose illnesses

now chart ruler venus conj jupiter in 12th suggests a very affectionate nature and perhaps even going over the top romantically, but behind closed doors. unless your time is incorrect, you may find it hard to actualise these two planets energies....

neptune conj MC causes all sorts of rose tinted glasses and illusions, hard to define goals and drifting, unclear focus etc.

Oh dahlia, that is very encouraging. Thanks! I also just got promoted to member instead of junior. But yeah like I said, I did a lot of reading on it just because I was trying to guess if I could make some career in singing as well. I have my share of ups and downs and many things in the chart showed to have been helpful (I'm still thinking about it)

How did I miss that fact that yes Aquarius would could also mean 'stream of subconscious' Maybe some thing humanistic or dealing with ideals and aspirations in your songs?

My multiquote was acting funny or maybe I am still unaware how to use it properly, Claire could you please have a lot at my chart to tell me about my career scope in singing? Please please please

I've seen such an amount of charts of artists which are heavy in the 12th that I came to think that maybe planets in the 12th show a spiritual connection to the collective, that gets to be expressed through art.

So, in that sense, the 12th can bring about a desire to merge-with-the-many.

A lead singer of a group is what I meant really.....out front. The 12th house does not always mean an anti social person but they do tend to like to be alone and introspective at times....SUre you must follow your dreams but when you ask a question you have to be prepared for the answers...
So do you play a musical instrument??? like a fiddle......
I think you may do well with writing your own songs as well. Just dont expect a huge worldwide career......
