Why did my ex contact my best friend?

I’m lost because I’ve never asked a question that actually involves 2 people so it’s confusing me.

My ex represents my 7th house and my best friend my 11th. He’s represented by Saturn and she’s Mercury. I would be the Sun but I’m not sure if it even matters in this horary.

Should I look at L3? And if yes, should it be his turned L3(my 9th house) ?

I don’t see aspects between Saturn and Mercury and I am not sure about receptions,I can’t figure the out for the life of me.

Either way, the question is about L7’s intentions and Saturn is in my 6th. But since the question is not directly about me I feel that turning houses is appropriate here. So, Saturn is in myex’s 12th, something secretive?
