investment question

Hi there
I am thinking of investing in a certain stock and want to know if I do well with it it over next 2 years. The exact question is:

Should I invest in this stock? Will it do very well in the next 2 years? Will I make a lot of money within 2 years through this investment?

The question was asked Feb. 27, 2008 at 7.14 pm, location kihei, hawaii (pst).

I see that my ruler Mercury is conjunct 2nd house ruler Venus in 5th house of stock market which looks promising, but also Uranus is coming to oppose ascendant, looks a little uncertain. Any feedback on this chart is most appreciated. Thanks,
Starlight

Re: investment question

Hi Starlight,

I'll have to quote John Frawley a little bit:

"...questions about investments should be judged from the state of the 2nd house and the condition and actions of Lord 2....If the querent is asking about a specific commodity, it is worth looking at the natural ruler of that commodity." (The Horary Textbook p157).

So your initial assessment is fairly sound. I don't have your chart to hand (I'm about to go work in the garden), but what is the Moon doing? If you asked this yesterday, the Moon was VOC for a long time, in fall in Scorpio, although I suspect it had already entered Sagittarius by the time you asked. In which case, the Moon's first aspects are to square the Sun and then Saturn. What do these signify in the chart, and what sorts of 'blocks' to your investment to they represent?

Worth looking at these things.

Good luck!
AG

Re: investment question

I forgot to mentioned the moon is at end of scorpio and thus void of course. i know this usually means nothing will come of it. However I have found things do happen if the main rulers are strong even though moon is voc. Also, i noticed that mercury (me) is in mut. reception with saturn, ruler of the 5th. I believe 5th rules stock market. Are the main rulers mercury and venus (2nd house ruler) in aquarius in 5th strong enough to give a positive answer to this question? Also to note, the stock is a technology one. Thanks for any more feedback.

Re: investment question

Starlight

Lilly says, that the Moon is not so ineffective when void of course and in the signs of Taurus (the Moon's exaltation), Cancer (the Moon's sign of rulership), Sagittarius or Pisces (both signs ruled by the greater benefic, Jupiter).

Also, when 2 planets are superstrong and are in aspect with each other then moon in void could mean nothing to worry about.

cheers

Re: investment question

I think the 2 main rulers are strongly placed, but am wondering about Uranus coming to oppose Asc. which is at 20 degrees virgo (by the way, the asc. is exactly where my natal venus is). Any more opinions on this chart?
