my current solar return just had my birthday on the 6th

Hi, I have been trying to figure out my solar return on my own. So, far this is what I came up with. I am not a great astrologer yet. I have so much to learn.
I could use some help though if anyone has the time. Thanks

So, from reading the suggestions on how to interpret a solar return from this very site.

This is what I came up with. (i put my natal up and my solar return chart)

In order of importance.
Solar return ac is aquarius in the early degrees, that makes it the first decan of the sign, which would relate to gemini....
So, I will be more into expressing my individuality...seeking out unusual people maybe or interesting innovative people, maybe hanging with more aquarian types
or leo types
future oriented
the ac is at 2 d aquarius and that would also fall in my 6th house
i did notice that i really want to make some changes to my lifestyle
i party way too much
also my progressed sun has just gone to 1 d aquarius but thats in the 5th house of the progressed chart...so maybe more romance in my life
(well i am having big fight with my current beau and i hope to sort that one out soon)
Okay since aquarius is ruled by two planets we can see that saturn is in my
8th house along with the part of fortune, it conjuncts saturn in libra hmmm
and also uranus which is in pisces right now but in the second house
so my question here is which will affect me and how
there seems to be a theme of healing in my life
jupiter, neptune and chiron are all in the first house
having three planets there is very important
so definetely my self image or healing my self image
so having jupiter in the first house says that i will be more expansive, more confident, also weight gain?
neptune in the first house
more psychic ? have to be careful of negative energy more sensitive to it
more charming (hehehehe), this is good for my music for sure
already on my birthday i had an event and played and was very well received....
chiron there hmmm
knight and shining armor complex and possibly gifted teacher?
but perhaps improving these
my sun is right on the 11th house
so lots of group associations
in the last three months there have been a lot of collaborative efforts between myself and others (i heard that the solar return can start being felt even three months prior to the actual birthday)
the solar return 11th house is ruled by sag at 15 d and jupiter the ruler of that chart is in the first house
so again the emphasis on expansion of the personality
but because jupiter also rules pisces then i might be bold and stay that 2nd house will also come up for me again
i have uranus there with juno
so there will be changes to this area of life as well
most of the planets are on top which means a more public or dealing with the world year and on the east side
which means more action taken on my part to make things happen

solar return moon happens to be in the 7th house
according to you guys here
it indicates an area of activity or restlesness
the moon falls at 19 degrees leo and conjuncts mars at 18 degrees
the moon is ruled by the sun here
again my sun is in 10th house
the areas that are ruled by the sun are the 7th house of this chart
the moon is ruling the 6th house
maybe this may emphasize the need to have healthy balanced relationships hmmm
mars rules the 3rd house emphasizes communication or learning something new maybe or and siblings and friends or neighbors
also rules the 10th house
umm
might there be some indicators of marriage in my chart
the 7th house and the 11th house are emphasized here
so bringing that back to my ac and my sun natally
venus is prominent and at 6 d sag in my tenth house
what do you think?
i might be having a fight with this guy that i am seeing but i feel really strongly about him

solar return aspects are only considered important when the activate a point, and
neptune/chiron/jupiter conjunct my natal dc right now
again emphasizing my natal 7th house needs and healing issues in those areas
i guess i could look upon this as the axis of my ac and dc issues

pluto and mercury are very close to the end of the 11th house
hmm transformation in that area of my life
i think i have some issues i will talk a lot about in the future
pluto rules the 10th house
mercury rules the fifth and 8th house of the chart hmmmmm

my sun/moon midpoint is at 1 d cap and my own mercury is at 4 d cap

wow this is going to be another interesting year

all the quadrants have an almost equal amount of planets but i would say that since the 9 to 12 area has four this could show a transpersonal time in my life
most planets are in angular houses
the first has two planets including chiron
the 4th none but
the seventh has two

that sounds ominous
what does anyone think about this

Your progressed sun is more important to which 'natal' house is now rather than the progressed chart. I don't read a progressed chart as 'stand alone' mainly cos it's the mathamatical 'aspects' it makes to natal planets and Angles of natal chart that's important
Your natal chart is like a photograph as unique as your fingerprint, BUT the 10planets in the sky have not stayed where they were in your natal chart, they have all moved. Predictive astrology is mostly maths where those 10planets are now and the mathematical aspects they make to your natal charts ie: 180'=opposition, 90'=square, 60'=sextile and 120'=trine.

So your personality, grows, develops, changes, matures as we get older, this is reflected by your sun sign changing from it's natal position to the next sign along, so does your Asc and MC sign change. In fact from sun to mars espec are important, as the outer planets really don't move much, using a 'day for a year' secondary progressions.

First decanate of Aquarius is 'aquarius' second decanate is gemini and third decanate is libra.

SR Asc falling in 6th house of work, co-workers, daily routines and health will be your main focus then.

but because jupiter also rules pisces then i might be bold and stay that 2nd house will also come up for me again

Uranus in 2nd suggests unusual ways of earning money, or disruptions, upheavals, shocks and surprises with your money but also your beliefs, values and what you own to make you feel materially secure.

You could always try asking a horary question in their greenhorn's lounge.

With astrology it has to be more than just one predictive tool that suggests events, such as marriage. Most popular indicator would be progressed planets

rising planets mean house conj Asc or in first house. This man sounds very much like a Traditional astrologer and it is not usual to interpret a SR as horary chart at all and I don't think it has been 'proven' to work on that premise ---

There are all types of Astrologers use this forum but mainly fall into Traditional & Western Astrology, the differences are explained here. Traditional astrologers mainly answer Horary questions but lots others also and different rules apply than from natal. They don’t use or go past Saturn, so Uranus, Neptune and Pluto…

Another technique I use and found valid is moving like Solar arc's the MC and Asc 1' for each day. so for example approx 18 days after your birthday SA Asc conj Jupiter, so were you out socialising, travelling, having a good time? 2days later SA Asc conj Neptune, confusion over arrangements, being sacrificing, fitting in with others rather than yourself?

In your case, the solar return moon is at 19 degrees Leo (conjunct mars by the way implies domestic unrest) it will oppose jupiter next (if we, as in horary, track its potential movement within the same sign), then inconjunct uranus, and (besides the other minor points) its last aspect before it leaves Leo is an opposition to Neptune. Neptune is dissolving, loosening of boundaries, drugs, can imply loss of energy, illness, dreams, disillusion.

i also thought of something that Robert Wilkinson (www.aquariuspapers.com) has mentioned that things happen when we have an upper square/opposition/lower square to the planet

so for instance there would have been an upper square from pisces, and there was, then there will be an opposition when the sun is in gemini and then there will be a lower square as well

A venus in the 10th and in Sagittarius.
Well venus key words are loved ones. lovers, pleasure, money, relationships or harmony.
Key words for the 10th are reputation, authority, career, parent, public eye. Sagittarius key words are enthusiasm, abundance, higher education, the law, ceremonies, weddings, ...another key word for Sagittarius is 'wandering' as it rules distant travels .

i also did my venus return and i was checking that and in my venus return my natal venus is posited in the 12th house of the chart

right now i am not talking to the guy i am seeing
all hell broke loose a couple of weeks ago with him

we are not talking at all

i am having a hard time with that too and i think it has to do with my venus being in that 12th house and all this stuff coming out
i do have venus in scorpio and it is right on my ic natally

So your 6th house is rising thus the 6th and its polar point, the 12th will be a focus.
If we go to those houses we see they are empty. We look for their rulers.

Moon! for the 6th...and where do we find it? combined with mars in the 7th...powerful combo and speaks of domestic unrest. In a fire sign ..fireworks with partnerships...ego might be involved. Since it rules the 6th we might see a connection to a co-worker? someone you met on a daily activity or health related concern or could be your health may be a concern relating to this person.

Now the 12th house ruler is Saturn and we find it in the 8th of others resources, transformation, powerful experiences. Saturn is restriction and in the sign of libra tells us about harmony. We might say powerful experiences are restricted by harmony

The moon and mars oppose neptune, chiron and jupiter in the first. This is most telling.

Things in the first are about self for the year. Neptune might be about self delusion, imagination, self-deception or self-doubt, vacillation, confusion. In Aquarius this might be because of idealism. With Jupiter this expands neptune. Jupiter is about optimism and aquarius is about idealism. Opposite moon and mars might create sometimes either a diffusion of energy or a conflict between over idealism and conflict with partnership. With Chiron this might be an effort to heal self but results in fireworks in partnerships.

The 12th house is about things confined, hidden to you, it is a house of completion before a new start. The 12th is about secrets and secret affairs. Thus Saturn in the 8th might be describing a psychological state of restricting your own hidden or unconscious process. It has a fairly positive relationship with venus indicating a need to look like you have it together in public particularly in relationships.

There is a trine of sun and moon and this is often an indication of striving for harmony in relationships and ease with other.
I do find it interesting that there is this emphasis on cadent houses 6/12 as this describes a preparatory phase.

though all the angles are fixed, indicating not much is changing with a cadent emphasis we might say the next return might show something different and in fact your next year solar shows a fixed and mutable on the angle indicating things start one way and end another

I would say this year has been confusing and draining. It is about idealism conflict restriction and unconscious processes.

well... My work situation is weird right now. But his work situation is what sort of fired up the beginning of our problems... It's hard to type on iPhones!!! When you need to flow with your brain. I feel that I struggling with what is re and can't seem to see what is true and what is not. Also. I am having a transit of Neptune over my natal Saturn starting at the end of this month too

maybe for the time being I just make sure I focus myself on music and creativity and learn as many new things as possible as far as my creativity is concerned. Also just let leave my guy to think Bout things. I czn not force him to change and if he doesnot care enough to want to vome to me and talk then is his loss and not mine!!

There is something i don't understand and that is that I always thought that the solar return was about your sun. I thought that main focus would be your sun's placement and the house that it is placed. So, why is the ac of the chart so important?

I was wondering if you would have any advice as to how I could deal with this stuff that is happening in my solar return?

I had a better weekend. I hung out with some friends and some of my other friends on fb have been great and I have been putting my poetry there and my music and getting some good responses to that. So, at least there is a positive vibe happening.

I guess, I just need to focus on the positive and keep on working on my music.
