I keep wondering about this aspect. I've read the available information online on Venus conjunct Pluto in synastry, but I couldn't find satisfactory information on when both are retrograde. The contact is in Scorpio and the orb is less than a degree (15 min to be precise).
I believe in the idea that retrograde planets signify karma and retrograde contacts speak of past lives connections.
Could it be that Pluto Rx conjunct Venus Rx in Scorpio speak of times of great obsession between the two people? Possessiveness and power struggles which ultimately played out very ugly?
And at the same time how would the aspect play out in this incarnation since because of the retrograde motion the energy is turned inward? Would the two people feel the same but be hesitant to express it openly?
