Solar Arc Question

If a planet is retrograde in the natal chart, does it also move retrograde in solar arc progressions? Or does it move direct?

**Please note I'm talking about solar arc progressions, not secondary progressions.

Re: Solar Arc Question

I don't know why no one has responded to your question.

Solar arc calculations are referred to as 'directions' and not 'progressions'.
As far as I have always been aware, a S.A direction moves forward with the same arc as the secondary progressed Sun, even if the natal planet is retrograde. The calculation provides a totally 'hypothetical' position for all planets, yet the accuracy of interpretation is remarkable.
