Jealous of what? I don't measure my self worth by my breast size nor would I ever want big sacks of fat on my chest I find breast weird and annoying. Unless you have a child to nurse from them then I see them as sacks of milk.

Re: What Rising Sign Has the Best looks

From memory, feminine curves are to do with the female hormones and their ratios, mainly Estrogen that is particularly to do with breast size. Which is pretty much a body part to attract men for reproductive purposes. They are called sexual organs for reasons. It is a natural weapon to attract men for high chance of breeding chances. Just like pheromones and female phermomones is produced from Estrogen.

0.7 waist-hip ratio is World Health Organization for female, while in popular culture also 0.7 ratio between the waist and hip for female is the most attractive that is similar to the animal kingdom for assessing if the female counterpart is healthy enough for child bearing. While for female above 0.85 that is the risk indicator of concerning health.

Quote:
Using data from the U.S. National Center for Health Statistics, William Lassek at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and Steven Gaulin of the University of California, Santa Barbara, found a child's performance in cognitive tests correlated to their mother's waist-hip ratio, a proxy for how much fat she stores on her hips. Children whose mothers had wide hips and a low waist-hip ratio scored highest, leading Lassek and Gaulin to suggest that fetuses benefit from hip fat, which contains long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids, critical for the development of the fetus's brain. In addition, evidence suggests that children of low-WHR teens were protected from the cognitive deficits often associated with teen birth.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waist%E2%80%93hip_ratio

Scientifically speaking, fat tissues in the hips regions contain more Omega 3 and Omega 6 oil based fat which is essential for brain development for the fetus. Several Health Statistics from US also found that mother with this ratio seem to produce children scoring higher cognitive test. Also bigger hip/pelvic bone size is a great indicator of positive ability to physically carrying the fetus and bigger physical room to store more beneficial fat.

Basically smaller waist allows more room for the abdomen to expand for the growing fetus while an already overweight abdominal will restrict the internal womb's size for fetus' development as most likely the internal organs will also have more surrounding fatty tissues.

So in term of medical astrology, your natural body shape as well as in progression most likely reflecting your current reproductive hormones and health condition for reproduction as well as attractiveness to attract the opposite sex for reproductive purposes. A healthy ratio represents ultimate fertility. Too skinny or too overweight both can interrupt hormonal balances and menstrual cycles/quality of eggs etc. Just like what animals will do to show off they are healthy and ready for breeding. They change color of their skin or feathers or used of body languages or sound etc.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...e-figures.html

Physical Beauty to the eye in nature is a subtle measurement for reproductive health and fertility/stamina for sexual activity.

One interesting thing though the true fertility and attractiveness actually is the waist-hip ratio instead of the breast size through estrogen and breast size can be helpful to increase attractiveness to get to the mating act. Larger breast women without an equally healthy waist-hip ratio may actually experience more problems of falling pregnant due to overdrive of estrogen that is naturally sterile that what contraceptive pills made from anyway! Women do often find themselves having bigger breast when they have been on pills for a period of time.

This is an academic article from a health research journal I often used for my previous Health Promotion epidemiology unit. Reliable data.

http://www.cep.ucsb.edu/papers/whrlassekgaulin2008.pdf

The distribution of the upper and lower fatty tissues were studied to determine the link of cognitive level for both the mother and the offspring. It is funny if you thought of women with bigger bums and healthy 0.7 ratio are actually smarter!

Yep, plenty of virgoish types in the woods so we can do males as well!

Re: What Rising Sign Has the Best looks

This person is quite handsome. He's not what would be a "typical" Scorpio rising. And I love his Cap Saturn in the 3rd house...he probably didn't say much but when he did, what he said held weight...which is extremely attractive to me.

Re: What Rising Sign Has the Best looks

The Jupiter ruled horoscope is NOT John Wayne's(Marion Milton Morrison) natal horoscope!

It's in the CIRCLE BOOK OF CHARTS:

http://www.amazon.com/Circle-Book-Charts-Rev-Edition/dp/B000X14LS8

I have the horoscope filed away with Leo asc., and Sun in Gemini in the 10H.

It's like about 2 weeks ago I saw a girl around town who looked like the genetic clone of Suzanne Summers. So I looked up her horoscope and found both Libra rising and Taurus rising for Suzanne, but now only the torro asc. remains via the web.

Wonder why they don't list Wayne's horoscope in leo rising as so many have in the past?

He was nicknamed the Duke, that is royalty, Leo rising!

Re: What Rising Sign Has the Best looks

John Wayne doesn't look Leo rising to me (loud, flashy, etc). He has a sort of serious and reserved look and although I wouldn't pick out Pisces rising for him, I think Saturn in the 1st house makes a lot of sense since he looks serious all the time and had a stern/Saturnine presence about him.

Re: What Rising Sign Has the Best looks

As a Virgo rising, I like my antiscia Aries rising man especially if he also loves cats! It is strange but Aries rising man, have Cancer in 4th, Scorpio 8th, and Pisces 12th. I found them very sensitive when you get to know them more.

James Dean, another Uranus conjuncts Ascendant, well he is bisexual super hot to me with that Venus on MC! See that his 5th and 8th house, Mars Rx /Pluto Rx and Venus condition. Moon in Scorpio and Pluto Rx in Cancer mutual reception. Actually overall very prominent Saturn and Uranus energy.

Playing with his cat

Re: What Rising Sign Has the Best looks

James Dean was a very interesting character.

Quote:
Before shooting his first scene with Elizabeth Taylor in Giant, Dean was so nervous that he decided to unzip his pants and urinate in front of the whole cast and crew. When later asked to explain his eccentric behavior, Dean said that if he could do that, he could do anything with Taylor in front of the camera.
80 Things You Didn't know about James Dean
http://flavorwire.com/147820/

If we look at his 4th house the end of life and legacy after death along with 8th house is also very interesting.

4th house when there is Pluto there. I often found a few times of the parent will die early during the native's childhood period. James Dean also has this placement.

Quote:
In the 4th grade, Dean once burst into tears before the whole class and blurted out “I miss my mother.” His mother, Mildred Wilson, had died of cancer when Dean was nine years old. Students who had teased Dean prior to the incident, stopped soon after.
Quote:
For a time, as a child Dean would write a wish on a piece of paper and put it under his pillow before he went to sleep. At night, his mother, Mildred, would read the wish and make it come true the next day.

Over one hundred years ago on the beaches in the USA this was the Puritanical norm:

I agree that it is a crying shame that so many males and females are in the porno trap, but the simple facts are some males like ultra voluptuous girls, some twiggys, and even heffty 250 pounder are relished by some males; seen it too often and I don't understand either extreme(twiggy worshippers or Ultra BBW fans), but it exists possibly due to the male's horoscope.

dioskouris, the sad facts are in my city about 25% of the time women walking down a certain street are prostituting themselves and some aren't even drug addicts. Even the police department here advertise in the phonebook as a sting operation not so much because of the morality issue but the easy revenue for the city arresting and giving out heavy fines to keep up the revenue. There are at least 4 strip clubs in the town, none have or will I attend, there are brothels in my state and covertly all over California, legal in Canada, and it's being proposed to legalize such in England presently.

IE. I have an aquaintence that I have done some astrology work for who likes larger than average bosum sized women yet married one like twiggy; sits around looking at porno stars in magazines! I mean that's ODD, marry a twiggy, and spend your time gazing ultra ultra cancer endowed females!!!!!!!!

Can't understand that logic or moral value in that one would think he would have gone for the bigger girl as it seems shameful towards his wife. But he claims '...in America and Europe almost all large breasted women gravitate into pornography due to earnings and vanity..'

Despite Europe and the USA being so deviant, my point was simply some men find certain types of females ultra attractive despite moral issues or contrary tastes!

We all have our ideals of Morality, purity, life-style, what should be the norm. Mine particularly goes back to the Western Fur Trade where upon the Coureurs Des Bois when they met the tribes of the Plains about 1790, the women were topless in deerskin skirts scraping hides and doing camp chores, and the Indian men were in breechcloths, yet adultery was heavily frowned upon. Lewis & Clark reported that 1 in 4 women had their nose cut among the Blackfeet, a punishment for women very common in the western tribes for adultery, while on their journey up river about 1805. The first painting by George Catlin and the 2nd by Alfred J. Miller in 1837 depict both the naturalness and freedom of dress of plain's indian women despite a heavy sanction against immorality for the most part.

My point, and a deep part of this humorous thread, is the ever common cliche 'Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder', but I must add as those Frenchmen latter found on the frontier it's not the amount of clothes we have on but what we believe and practice in our hearts that makes us moral!

I like the Scorpio Sun/Libra Rising combo like Katy Perry and Leo Di Caprio. There's depth from the Scorpio and elegance from the Libra that makes that combo look so mesmerizing.

Re: What Rising Sign Has the Best looks

Me and Leo DiCaprio have the same degree Libra rising- 3 degrees! He's very handsome, in a Libran way... polite, subtle, classic.

Katy Perry is beautiful in a very classic feminine way, which is very female Libran.

Re: What Rising Sign Has the Best looks

The chart is us, we are not the chart. It reflects our characteristics.
According to our own inner template of what we find attractive,
ie. for women the Mars and Sun, and for men the Venus and Moon, we will be attracted to those who exhibit those characteristics.
We can recognise that someone is good looking but they dont do "it" for us.
same with a plainer person, they somehow attract us. All part of the magic of love and chemistry. We cant analyse or categorise who has the best looks for all of us.

This is true, but some celebrities seem to capture the public regardless.

Glamour magazine has top 100 sexiest men from 95,000 votes in 2013, so we could look at the highest votes. For the top 20 with birth times, we have:

Robert Downey, Jr. : Leo Rising, Sun conjunct Venus in Aries.

Rafael Nadal : Scorpio Rising conjunct Pluto.

Michael Fassbender : Sag Rising conjunct Neptune, Jupiter in Taurus, Pluto conjunct MC in Libra.

Johnny Depp : Leo Rising, Sun in Gemini.

Ian Somerhalder (intense eyes) : Aquarius Rising (0 degrees), Uranus conjunct MC in Scorpio.

Justin Bieber : Scorpio Rising (29 degrees) conjunct Pluto.

Harry Styles : Gemini Rising, Mercury conjunct Saturn 0 degrees Aquarius, Sun and Mars conjunct MC in Aquarius.

Robert Pattinson (blegh) : Cancer Rising with Moon conjunct. Jupiter is Pisces conjunct MC.

Henry Cavill (got the most votes, and I do say!) : Aquarius rising conjunct Moon, Uranus and Jupiter conjunct Sagittarius MC.

Wish there was more diversity here... of course this is biased, but votes on looks seems to provide some pretty interesting answers as far as celebrities go. Lots of involvement of the ASC ruler conjunct MC or AC, or a personal planet, Leo, Aquarius and Scorpio rising in this list.

Re: What Rising Sign Has the Best looks

There is no one who is universally admired or desired. Brad Pitt, George Clooney for instance, not every woman finds them attractive.
Celebrities will often have Leo prominent as it is the sign of the entertainment world and ego expression. For musicians then Venus strong, Libra or Taurus in the mix. For a public life there has to be strong aspects or planets in the 10th house or to the MC.

Robert Downey Jnr has Venus on the Sun in Aries which usually makes the person at least pleasantly attractive in looks and with masculine appeal, but for me, he is too short, for instance.

The rising sign ruler is the planet to look at and its aspects. Having Leo rising for instance you need to look at what the Sun is doing. This will give some indication of the persona and the image. Astrology is complex, thankfully or I would have lost interest many years ago.

I never said they were. But if we want to look at trends, statistics is a nice tool, and I put up a very basic start of that kind of analysis.

I actually only found perhaps 2 people on that top 20 attractive, personally. But there are a whole lot of ladies (and gentlemen) that do find them attractive.

Of course, there is a strong bias in that they are all famous people. Like you say, all those planets conjunct with the MC and AC are usually related to being in the public eye. A better study would be to actually use photographs perhaps of everyday people, survey who participants find most physically attractive, and look at all their charts for any possible trends.

Seriously, though, it depends what sort of looks you like. I like odder looking people who have something different looking about them.

I don't think that Aishwarya Rai chick is beautiful at all - just because someone wins Miss World doesn't mean they are gorgeous. I think her nose and her lips are funny shapen (and Ok, maybe I am just sick of so many people saying how beautiful they think she is too... blah, blah, blah). She does have nice eye color and hair and that is it, IMO.

If I had to pick celeb I thought were the best looks: Male, "Jason Lewis: and female, "Mila Jovovich". Don't know what Jason Lewis' rising sign is but I was surprised that Mila's was Cancer - with those eyes I thought she would be a Scorpio Rising for sure.

Lots of good looking men with Scorpio Rising - River Phoenix is one, IMO. Intense is sexy.

That said, I always thought that astrologically speaking that having a conjunct to your ascendent made some of the most beautiful faces. Venus conjunct to your ascendant is supposed to be one. I have Neptune conjunct to my Scorpio Rising and I think it adds a dreamy look to my otherwise intense Scorpio Rising eyes. (and I have been told I am beautiful - so take that Aishwarya Rai. :P)
Jason Lewis is hot but Milla Lovovich prettier than Aishwarya??? No way!!! I didn't really like her short hair and her lips are too fat! She has this weird ditzy look! Aishwarya over her ANY time!

It depends on what YOU think is best, and probably that will be your DC sign
Uh, guys? Leo is extremely hot, sexy, masculine and powerful too! Modern astrologers might have watered Leo down to this weird, drama queen sign but in ancient times, they were extremely militaristic, aggressive, violent and forceful! They were the symbol of the stormiest and hottest time of summer and they're symbol is the mighty LION compared to some bull, ram or scorpion who are still prey! Leo is strong, powerful, dominant and sexy! Never forget that!

Their goal when it comes to appearance is to be pleasant looking and not hurt other people's visions but rarely, if ever, does it want to be the center of the attention.

Still, my vote is always for Sagittarius rising- striking, tall, lean, and a devil-may-care attitude and wild looks (Brad Pitt in Snatch is perfect). Second would be Aries rising (like James Dean)- also striking, lean, and devil may care attitude and rebellious looks. Leo rising is the most polished of the Fire risings and they're so proper and formal, which is unlike the other Fire risings. I prefer risings who are not so PC in attitude and wild looking.
