On top of that, Venus and Mars are about to change signs. Venus will be domiciled while Mars will go to his fall. This might spell disappointment on your end.

Ah yes, you're right. I thought the planets were at 29 degrees each, which would mean that they were currently together but would soon separate. The 1st degree rising shows it's still early days, though.

An early degree rising generally means that it's too soon to tell. New events have to take place before a realistic "yes" or "no" answer should be given.
However, Venus (him) applies to a sextile with Mars (you) so things look promising. If you think he's The One, I note that the moon's next aspect is Mercury, so further communication seems like a good idea.

Interesting how both of your significators in in signs of Mercury dispositor of part of marriage. You really want to get married. But do you truly care about this guy? I don't think so.
Moon is in fall of Venus, you dislike him and Mars in dual sign, so seem you might be keeping options open.
He cares for you though, Venus in 1st and your sign of Mars. There is the aspect yes, but there is also early ASC, which will come into play.
Venus will change signs into Taurus ad enter detriment of Mars, I think soon enough he will feel a change and may not think this is a good match.
Plus for a marriage you need Moon to be in a fertile sign and dignified good house.
So I think with early ASC more needs to happen before we can with certainty say he is your spouse. I'm not seeing it right now.
