7 planets retrograde

If 2-3 they are good. If 5+ they are not really good.
In what sense are they better?

In my view, because emphasis is placed on them and understanding how they function for us and within us. It may be different than how they function for others, but there is that emphasis placed so by extension if one doesn’t become a victim of their retrogrades, they become a master of them
And I suppose they may be more internal and introverted, but that gives them a depth and independence that can become a strength

One thing to keep in mind, Staci, is that natal retrograde planets will often go direct by progression. We never lose our natal chart, but it can have mitigating factors over time.
Two of my retrograde planets have since turned direct by progression. One has continued to go retrograde to the extent that it no longer opposes my sun.
Basically with so-called secondary progressions, we look at the ephemeris (time-table of planets) or just ask the computer to do the work for us. We set one year of our life equal to one day in the ephemeris. For example, a 20-year old would count 20 days on the ephemeris from her birth date, and see what the planets are doing now.
The outer planets move very slowly, but the moon moves relatively quickly. Planets that change sign and house by progression normally do signal a change in the person's life.

@OP True, you have 7 retrogrades, but 5 are of social and outer ones. So if anything, you can take comfort in knowing several people of your generation are feeling at least 5 retrogrades
I have 5 retrogrades myself, with Merc being the only personal one. Retrogrades require you to work harder to develop the energy of the planets. Retrograde planets are misunderstood at youth, but they get better with age. In short, retrogrades aren't for laziness.
I'm more concerned about your clutter in 12H though, especially with Merc and Venus opposite Pluto. You also have Sun opposite Saturn. Do you have doubt about everyone and everything, including yourself? Merc is in Aries and form aspects to Moon and Neptune. Maybe you are an emotional thinker and you aren't as objective as you would like to. I have a feeling that you are easily hurt and once you are hurt you become very doubtful. Moon in 1H and opposite Neptune, your emotional life is of great importance to you and you are prone of mood swing. Is that the reason why you feel so bad?

Having 5 retrograde planets myself and a strong Uranian signature, I'm happy to stick out from the herd. Why would I want to be like everyone else?
But Pluto is retrograde during something like 1/3 of a 12-month year. It's hard to distinguish its effect. Saturn is always retrograde when opposite the sun . Here I think the problem is the opposition, not Saturn being retrograde.
I once read that people with natal Mercury retrograde actually do fine when Mercury turns retrograde by transit. It's like we're finally in synch.
With Mercury retrograde natally I'm a great believer in Murphy's law. I normally build a lot of redundancy into travel plans and important communications, things that transiting Mercury retrograde supposedly messes up.

Can you elaborate about the clutter 12h. I did some research after you said that & im like geez I go from worrying about the 7 retrografes to now this. Does that mean I will go to jail? I’m really concerned

Thanks for pointing that out. This has been such strange time for me. Reflecting and comparing times and events. They are unbelievably right on. I haven’t seen my real dad in years. My mom had me illegally adopted by another man when I was 4. You would think he would be happy to see me but when I turned back around he was gone. I work at a bar and maybe he didn’t see me, im positive he did.
