Why do Saturn and Jupiter have the same name?

Why did you use the alchemical? names for planets?

I like what I am reading, it is a good learning tool......work and life have been busy, I will return......

I wasn't sure if this was where he would prefer I answer.....but, you are correct, I could have been a little more clear of wording

Phainon.......Saturn and Jupiter.....to me, they are very different.....yet, he has them as Phainon, unless where I looked them up was wrong.....

Phainon - Saturn and Jupiter

Phaethon - Sun

Pyroeis - Mars

Phosphoros - Venus

Stilbon - Mercury

I am still reading, I am going to read Book One a couple more times before I move on, it is a good description of the Tables, we look at tables.....but they don't sink into my brain like a description......it is handy to have a table for reference, but I am enjoying his descriptive take.....

I did have to look up the above though......for some that may be a detriment.......I don't mind.......it makes me read/google more......

Phainon is Saturn (Shining), Phaethon is Jupiter (Radiant), Sun is just Sun.

I am enjoying the eclipse education. Thank you for your explanations.

Do you find eclipses to be more important to mundane charts or natal? Or do you find them equally important based on the planets and houses affected by aspect?
Most of the reading I have done talk about eclipses in a mostly mundane way, although there is some mention of it in natal chart.
