Re: Can anyone explain the Davison chart to me a little bit?
A composite chart basically averages the horoscope placements of two (or more) people. There are several types of composite charts. The Davison and midpoint methods seem to be the most common, but they give somewhat different results.
What the chart shows is the couple: not two people as individuals.
Assuming the birth times are correct, the ascendant shows how the couple interacts with and is seen by other people.
The sun shows the identity of the relationship. Venus conjunct sun, therefore, is a good indicator of love and affection. But the Saturn-Pluto square, and the moon-Uranus square indicate areas of disagreement. To some extent moon-Neptune, but I would read this more as indicating a sense of unreality.
