Each one of the 12 Apostles (13, Judas Iscariot was Jesus Christ's betrayer) is a zodiac sign, or if you include Mary Madgalene: the lost apostle, she is found on the painting which depicted Jesus Christ in his last supper in Passover 3 days before his crucifixion. The connection to Christianity and astrology is there and we cannot deny the role of the zodiac to represent their theological dogmas.

Andrew-Aries, Bartholomew-Taurus, Thomas-Gemini, James-Cancer, Thaddeus-Leo, Matthew-Virgo, James the Lesser (what if Mary Magdalene instead)-Libra, Judas-Scorpio/Ophiuchus, Matthias-Sagittarius, John-Capricorn, peter-Aquarius and Simon (the zealot)-Pisces. I would place Mary Magdalene for Orion, the parazodiac like Ophiuchus, opposite Judas on the boundaries of the ecliptic.

2 dates connected to religion and astrology: the 46th calendar day of the year (February 14-15 including the previous night) in sidereal astrology is the cusp Capricorn-sun transit Aquarius. And the 96th (or 97th) is mid-summer eve or the longest days of the year from June 17-24 end (summer solstice in northern hemisphere) already the sun is in Cancer in tropical astrology. I wonder if the true birth date of Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago (Feb 8, 7 BCE followed by his infant circumcision) is also related to when he was conceived 8 months before or the annunciation to his mother the Virgin Mary she was bearing this child of god (according to Christianity). The 46th and 96th days are possibly the high points of the calendar year besides Christmas (Dec 25) 4 days after shortest night of the year Dec 17-25(winter solstice in northern hemisphere) and a week later, Dec 31-Jan 1, New Year's eve/day in the western (or solar) calendar.

Hi CapAquaPis :)
Some weeks ago I watched Zeitgeist the movie. Perhaps you'd already heard about the Zeigeist films. About religion, it's explained how crucifixion is an allegory of the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere. Besides that, you can find similarities between most ancient religious characters based on astronomical events (unfortunately you may find some mistakes in the information regarding the life and deeds of some of the characters used for the comparison). Thing is the connection between astronomy and religion had always existed, and because of that is pretty difficult to say how much about religious characters is true. I mean, what if more passages of Jesus life are just allegorical of astronomical events, not the other way around?

In my opinion Jesus really existed, but I share the idea that the bible, specially the old testament and the gospels, is plagiarism of ancient Egyptian texts.

In the bible you can find references to Pisces and aquarius age. In my opinion that astronomical knowledge was "borrowed" from Ancient Egypt, it couldn't be other way.

Luke 22 New King James Version (NKJV)

"7 Then came the Day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover must be [a]killed. 8 And He sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”

9 So they said to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare?”

10 And He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house which he enters. 11 Then you shall say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?” ’ 12 Then he will show you a large, furnished upper room; there make ready.”

13 So they went and found it just as He had said to them, and they prepared the Passover."

I'm not talking about Aryans as a race, it's about they were linked to the sun sign Aries (Europeans, Indians and esp Iranians - the constellation Perseus). The Turks were named for Taurus (Turks include Chinese, Koreans, Siberians and Japanese - their constellation is Cetus the whale). And Semites like Mesopotamians and descendants (Arabs, Ethiopians, Syrians, Copts, Maronites and Jews, plus Ancient Egypt referred Orion).

The 12 (8 so far) Astrological Ages based on religious and theological beliefs:

Virgo - the birth of humanity, symbolized by a mother earth goddess figure, a youngling species learning to grow up and mature in the 26,000 year cycle.

Leo - the first clans, symbolized by a paternal figure (the lion) and its brightest (king) star Regulus (29' Leo in tropical astrology, 5' in sidereal on the ecliptic).

Cancer - the first tribes, symbolized by the moon, allegedly are matrilineal (the Moon, representative of maternity) and is led but not dominated by women.

Gemini - the first nation-states, symbolized by twins or 2 people come together to work out the foundations of society and communication (invented writing).

Taurus - the first empires, symbolized by the bull (the golden calf), important constellation (along with star clusters Hyades and Pleiades) in ancient Egypt.

Aries - the warring stage, symbolized by the Ram and the planet Mars, named for Roman god of war. Male domination developed, esp. in organized religion.

Pisces - the age of Christianity, symbolized by the fishes, and planet Jupiter. It An age of bondage to religious fundamentalism and strengthened gender roles.

Aquarius - the (current) age of science and technology, a global one, emphasis of peace, equality (of all classes, races and sexes), and space exploration.

Looking ahead in the future, Capricorn should be similar to Aquarius with the planet Saturn in mind - humanity may live on other planets or explore galaxies. Sagittarius comes next (the peak of humanity?), Scorpio is one of decline (on earth?) and Libra is the "day" of judgement - the scales of balance - for the human race. (to go extinct, to continue onward, or evolve into a new species?).

And as of January 11, 2018, quite possibly, the age of Aquarius might have started by a conjunction or triple stellium in Libra. I'm unsure this prophect is based on tropical or sidereal versions of astrology. Last quarter moon in the early mornings when the sun is in Capricorn, therefore at dawn...thus the dawning of a new astrological age, similarly of the Saturnian sign Aquarius.

In Jan 20, 2017 - the inauguration of Donald Trump as the USA's 45th (or 44th person in office) president and in 2 years - the lunar eclipse cusp Cancer/Leo opposite the sun leaving Capricorn/entering Aquarius. This is of great concern for the USA, the world's current lone global superpower, to have a president to usher in either a peak prosperity age or could bring on the third world war.

I'm not "event oriented" external to the Chart-placement of a designated Age-indicator, for determining when the Aquarian Age begins. Most sideralists are using the Vernal Equinoctial Point, which is marked by the Sun at the beginning of Spring in the Northern hemisphere. Then, there's the location of the sidereal Signs themselves, which can vary as much as several degrees depending on the individual astrologer. The Fagan-Bradley Sign locations have the V.E.P. reaching the 5th degree of sidereal Pisces (moving retrograde towards Aquarius) in March of 2018. But, if you have the sidereal Signs situated differently, it could have already entered sidereal Aquarius. Big difference, by about 358 years for the actual start of the new Age.
Turns out the real problem is that Traditionally, there is no gradation at the Sign-cusps--that makes it all one Age, then suddenly all the other, instead of a slow but steady transition from one to the next. That's like saying there's no Sun-light visible at the horizon until the Sun itself suddenly appears. Ridiculous, [IMO]. Pre-Sunrise "twilight" is a real phenomenon I'm using as an analogy relative to the idea of a "dawning" of the Aquarian Age. We're seeing some of its effects prior to the Age-indicator actually reaching the location of the Sign-boundary.

The period of world history (from 148 BC-2012 AD) is the Piscean age (now in the Aquarian age and Capricornian epoch after Aquarian), but the last 180 years (1832-2012) is Piscean (and now is Arien) and further divided into 15-year parts. I can look in US history and determine what happened in each one part. Trump's presidency is part of the current time (part 2012-2027).

1832-47 Aries: Texas revolution and independence then joins the US which led to the Mexican-American war when the US defeated Mexico to annex California.

1847-62 Taurus: California Gold Rush fastened the new territory to statehood, beginnings of Industrial Revolution in US, and socialist revolutions worldwide.

1862-77 Gemini: The US divided into briefly 2 nations: the US (Union/north) defeats the Confederacy/south, later reunited after reconstruction period.

1877-92 Cancer: The US' centennial year, a stronger sense of national identity. Labor unions started to form after workers protest for better wages/benefits.

1892-1907 Leo: The US rises to world power status after defeating Spain in the 1898 war, annexed former Spanish territories, the US is now a colonial empire.

1907-22 Virgo: World War I, the US enters 1917, Virgo-ruled Prussia/Germany surrenders to allies in 1918, and the Virgo-ruled Russian/Soviet revolution.

1922-37 Libra: Great prosperity, then in 1929, Wall street stock market crash. The US and world in great depression. President FDR implants the New Deal.

1937-52 Scorpio: World War II (1941-45), the US enters after Japanese attack on pearl Harbor, the remainder was cold war against former ally Soviet Union.

1952-67 Sagittarius: Great prosperity again-1950s, social turmoil-1960s. The rise of social liberalism in US and western world to ultimately change cultures.

1967-82 Capricorn: 6 manned lunar landings (1969-72) as peak of science in US, economic crises-1970s, and after Watergate malaise in American character.

1982-97 Aquarius: Reagan conservative revolution, fall of communism led to end of cold war, more racial diversity/ gender equality, and environmentalism.

1997-2012 Pisces: Clinton superboom, more spirituality, religious right peak in politics, beginning of new millennia/age, and 9/11 (2001) led to war on terror.

The zodiac alphabet - 12 signs and their connections to 26 letters of the Latin or western alphabet.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq08KxMOGAk

I feel generations are connected, like generation X (10th? 12th? 18-year period or 24th cohort since the US became independent) is Aquarian.

Generations A-B: Aries, C-D: Taurus, E-F: Gemini, G-H: Cancer, I-J: Leo, K-L: Virgo, M-N:Libra, O-P: Scorpio, Q-R: Ophiuchus (the peak), S-T: Sagittarius, U (1937-45)-V(1946-54): Capricorn, W (1955-63)-X (1964-72): Aquarius, and Y (1973-81) and Z (1982-91): Pisces. Now with Greek letters Alpha (1992-2000) and Beta (2001-09) under Aries in a whole new cycle and the current one as children (2010-18): Taurus.

I use Neptune/Uranos for generations, because Neptune is a connection to the emotional-spiritual realm, and Uranos matches up with it so well and describes our thought patterns. There are basically two Uranos ingresses for each Neptune ingress.

And the numbers of the zodiac (from 1-12, can repeat itself), each number is a sign. Not sure it's a lucky number, but in numerology it is from 1-9. I guess a sign can have 1-3.33 (10th/3rd sign), 3.33-6.66 (11th/2nd) and 6.66-9.99 (12th/1st - the beginning and end, alpha and omega, and start and finish).

1, 13, 25, 37, 49, 61, 73, 85 - Aries (#1 or 13)/Pisces (#25 or 49).
2, 14, 26, 38, 50, 62, 74, 86 - Taurus/Aquarius.
3, 15, 27, 39, 51, 63, 75, 87 - Gemini/Capricorn.
4, 16, 28, 40, 52, 64, 76, 88 - Cancer (#88)/Sagittarius (#40).
5, 17, 29, 41, 53, 65, 77, 89 - Leo/Scorpio.
6, 18, 30, 42, 54, 66, 78, 90 - Virgo (#6)/Libra (#66).
7, 19, 31, 43, 55, 67, 79, 91 - Libra/Virgo.
8, 20, 32, 44, 56, 68, 80, 92 - Scorpio/Leo.
9, 21, 33, 45, 57, 69, 81, 93 - Sagittarius (#3 or 33)/Cancer (#9 or 69).
10, 22, 34, 46, 58, 70, 82, 94 - Capricorn/Gemini.
11, 23, 35, 47, 59, 71, 83, 95 - Aquarius (#23)/Taurus(#47).
12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96 - Pisces (#12)/Aries(#24).

In a 100-year century, the years 97 (Aries-Gemini), 98 (Cancer-Virgo), 99 (Libra-Sagittarius) and 100 or zero-0 (Capricorn-Pisces) divided by 3.33. For a 1000-year millennia made of centuries: 10 Aries/Taurus, 11 Gemini, 12 Cancer, 13 Leo, 14 Virgo, 15 Libra, 16 Scorpio, 17 Sagittarius, 18 Capricorn and 19 Aquarius/Pisces. And finally, 2000 year ages can be for every 2 centuries.
