Many adepts accept the idea of karma; many adepts do not accept this concept; many adepts accept the concept of reincarnation-many adepts do not accept that concept. These are very deep subjects and require much study, contemplation and even experience, in coming to any definite conclusions (for oneself) But trying to justify everything that happens, whether "as God's will", or as "its your karma", or anything along these lines, is just plain dumb and arises from one's ignorance and lack of insight into the meaninfulness of life and the Cosmos.
I personally accept both the concept of karma and the concept of reincarnation (each, though, with a lot of conditions attached, in my own personal understanding of these ideas) For me, regarding the natal chart, I believe the entire chart represents the karmic state into which the newly incarnated (reincarnated) spark (spirit or soul) comes, again, into the world of action, driven here by the karma previously incurred. So for me karma IS the nativity!
I shall shortly post something I discovered quite by accident back in the 1970's-a method typed on a single sheet of paper (and dating from 1939) which I have subsequently applied in practice, and it's titled: "To Know the Karma"-some AW might members might find it a bit interesting.
