Navamsa vs Lagna chart

Ive read that the Navasma chart becomes more important to a person after they hit a certain age i think its over 30 is that true.Also for the spouse ive also read that the lagna chart is what you want but the navasma chart is what you get in life.So for instance would the 7th house of lagna be more important for spouse or would the 7th house in navamsa be more important

Birth chart is always important. Navmamsha chart is divisional chart of Birth chart.
In this chart we see placement of planets from natal chart and their position (exalted/friendly/Mool trikone or other positions). I agree that Navmansha chart indicates after midway of life (approx.)
For spouse in birth chart we have to see 7th house and it's lord, in navmansha chart - importance of ascendant lord for spouse will be very high. Then comes 7th house lord is also considered.
Now for Navmansha chart importance of accuracy of time of birth is very important because of 3 degrees and 20 mins division. Hence we see placement of planets of natal chart in the sign of Navmansha chart or in Shashtiyamsha chart (with the same ascendant of natal chart) only signs will be changed.

At best the Navamsa is considered equal to the birth chart, but certainly not more important. However, when calculating strength of planets, Navamsa usually has the final word.

so does that mean that the ascendent lord of the navamsa chart is important for spouse or the 7th house of navasma is more important for showing how ones spouse would be
