Once wife of Great Poet Kalidasa told him that there was no rice or food at home...and told him to get food materials; otherwise, she threatened that there would be no food on that day.
Kalidasa, went to the court that day and was sitting there thinking about the incident at home. The court was in full swing, the King was not getting any input from Kalidasa that day. After a while, King said to Kalidasa," What happened, why are you not reciting/ sharing any poems today?' as every day, Kalidasa used to contribute beautiful poems in the court.
Great Poet Kalidasa recited " Annachinta Chamatkara, Katore Kavita Kuta"
[Thinking how to earn food is intensely absorbing; it does not allow thinking of other things or enjoy singing]
King appreciated the recitation and rewarded heavily.
