Unaspected venus in a mars heavy chart

I saw an interesting thing in one of my friends charts: he had an unaspected venus and nine aspects with mars in his natal chart. As a woman I have noticed that he is not necessarily a masculine figure.

Hi. There could be various happening here. The Venus might be strong because it's not hampered by other planets. Mars could be making strong aspects to planets like Neptune which take the edge off Mars' coarseness. Etc.. It would be good to put the chart up.

It's also worth looking at midpoints and what Venus aspects show up in higher harmonic charts.
