Entering into Scorpionland for a while...

So my progressed ascendant is in Scorpio (as well as my natal ascendant) for the next several years. Also, my progressed moon just entered Scorpio, which will also be passing through my 12th house....

I am pretty worried as I am already intense. I have read that my emotions will be almost like "fatal attraction" and that they will be very exaggerated. Is there anything good coming from this? I was hoping to get married within the next couple of years, but can marriage happen with all this scorpion drama headed my way?

well there is always good and bad to every sign/placement.
for example, scorpions were viewed as protectors of the home, and good luck. it also has a tendency to burrow and ferret out truths, Also mystysm, Alot of hidden esoteric, and mystical information, Plus a good ability to defend yourself. its ruled by mars, so check your natal position of mars to see possible manifestations

Its not always waht you think though, i only have pluto in scorpio, yet I feel scorpio intensley because of whats in my 8th house. so also consider what your natal 8th house is as well. which traditionaly belongs to scorpio.

No one can view attachments at the moment, although admin are trying to resolve matters -- so in the meantime try this ----

Everyone I think I've found a temporary solution to attachments. If you upload via your control panel and save to your album and then copy and paste the link into your thread --- this seems to work. Only slight problem you may have to trim the size down to fit ie: 600 x 600 in some kind of software or accessories/paint first.

Another idea (from eedwards) was to have two internet explorer windows open (but not full view obviously) and simply drag and drop chart from one window to another. Just remember to either (anonymize if posting a friends chart) and reduce to 63% in Extended chart selection

A member advised me of this ---
“I cast the chart on astro.com right, and saved it to the computer. Then I have an account on photobucket (which is Free) and uploaded it there. After it is saved there you can assess url, links to the pic. One is an "img" kind of link, you just copy and paste in the post, and after you have posted, it shows up as a chart there”

I personally don't view the progressed chart as a stand alone, it's more important around the outside of the natal chart. If you go to Extended chart selection on astro.com there are numerous options for charts.

Your natal chart is like a photograph as unique as your fingerprint, BUT the 10planets in the sky have not stayed where they were in your natal chart, they have all moved. Predictive astrology is mostly maths where those 10planets are now and the mathematical aspects they make to your natal charts ie: 180'=opposition, 90'=square, 60'=sextile and 120'=trine.

So your personality, grows, develops, changes, matures as we get older, this is reflected by your sun sign changing from it's natal position to the next sign along, so does your Asc and MC sign change. In fact from sun to mars espec are important, as the outer planets really don't move much, using a 'day for a year' secondary progressions.

The most important of progressed planets is of course, sun & moon and then upto mars, as the outer planets hardly move by progression. Now like with transits, solar arcs --- it's what these progressed planets are doing NOW by mathematical aspect to your natal planets and Angles that is ultimately important.

Also I would take this opportunity to mention that in every forum here on AW, there are 'stickys' which cover, explain in great depth what each forum is all about, plus we have an Education forum for further research..

I see what your Moon's doing. It's making you feel these next couple years everything you've learned with your Asc & now the Asc is nearing the end of sign. As a natal Scorpio with friends experiencing the exact same prog asc as you, I advise to take up yoga, or a martial art, to try to fully connect with someone, to follow your heart & take all advice but only listen to your own.

To read the rest follow the link. Further your Moon in Equal house system is in the 12th house not 11th and it's only by study and research will you 'see yourself'

How do you think this Scorpio stuff is related to your natal ?

Also, my friend's prog Asc is about 2 degrees ahead of you (29 Sco) & she'll switch over in September. She has been dealing with a lot of emotion, etc & thoughts that only Scorpios know about but we only share with trusted friends. She's really confused cause her Moon is in Taurus, on the Descendant. Much of her Scorpio "relating" in the world is at odds with how she feels. But I think she's just dealing with all of the emotion & trauma she experienced so she can let it go & move on to greener pastures. Do you know what I mean?

Yet at the same time I see Sag qualities "shining through" cause she met me (I'm a foreigner) & is studying a foreign language & interested in going abroad. So perhaps you'll also see some of this stuff start to reveal itself.

Kaminari, I don't now how this "scorpio stuff" is related to my natal chart. I have a hard time understanding how that works exactly.

I do however feel that this will be a time of purging myself of all the emotions and issues I have not dealt with from my past. As my moon will be progresing through my 12th house, I think that this will be a time of taking care of unresolved issues and freeing myself from past restrictions. I think I will come out of this like a phoenix rising from the ashes.... So I hope! :smile:

Oh my. I am defintely being drawn to the dark parts of the 8th house. My manager died right after the new year and now my father has just passed away unexpectedly....I am realizing that I need these experiences in order to release my emotions I have been hiding back for my entire life. It is very hard, but I know that in the long run it will be a freeing experience.
