the Synodic Cycle of Venus

I just learned something new, about Venus returning to its same given position with respect to the sun every 8 years. During those years it describes a pattern likened to a pentagram or 5 petaled flower.
https://earthsky.org/astronomy-esse...his is known as the,as the pentagram of Venus.

Is this something you've used astrologically? How so?

As best I can determine, it is usually viewed as a lengthier sun-Venus cycle, with a return date helping us to get perspectives on Venus-ruled themes such as love, relationships, valuable possessions, the arts.

Here's some reading material.

And an ephemeris.

I didn't get that far, but note from the 2nd linked article that the sun-Venus conjunction this year is on March 26 at 5 degrees Aries. With my moon at 5 degrees Leo opposite Mercury and Venus at 5 and 7 degrees Aquarius, respectively, this looks like a pleasant transit involving a sextile and a trine.
