I don't know if this the right section to post this or not but is synastry accurate? And if so can you guys help me out with it? I know very little and would love to learn from the experts, thanks :)

Yes, synastry is quite accurate. Synastry compares your native planets and positions with another person. Both are related to the Sun's yearly cycle of the Zodiac, or circle of 12 signs, and 30 degrees of each sign. Think of the Zodiac as the east to west spatial backdrop of the celestial sphere. Each person was born with an imprint of the greater environment.

Synastry factors include Sun, Moon, planets, asteroids, Eastern Horizon (Ascendant) and MC (highest Zodiac point overhead). Of course, the entire House wheels can be compared also. Here are some links to explore:
