I have a sagittarius stellium but I am not outgoing

Hey all! So I was looking at my chart & then a thought came to me...I see all of these planets in my natal chart in sag. & I read that Sagittarius are supposed to be the life of the party but I am THE OPPOSITE of that. I am really shy & in high school people would describe me as a ghost because they didn't know I was there haha. Anyways, is there anything in my natal, progressed or even transits that explain why I don't feel like an outgoing sag?

Perhaps your Saturn conjunct Moon brings seriousness, shyness and perhaps a bit of depression and feelings of emotional restriction. Moon in Pisces is also very sensitive and perceptive to people's feelings, so that perhaps tones down the crassness and directness that Sag can have. Perhaps you are so emotional responsible that you wouldn't dream of being overly Saggittarian. Also remember that people express different parts of their chart at various stages of their life, so perhaps there will come a time when you may be more outgoing and fun-loving.

Your progressed Asc is now in Pisces, heralding a time in your life when you are perhaps more aware of the subtleties of life and perhaps growing in spiritual awareness. Your natal Sag stellium of personal planets have also progressed into Capricorn, again emphasising a time of being serious and getting down to responsibility. It shall pass too when they progress into Aquarius.

I'd say both your natal chart and progressed chart speak of the same thing you mention in your title.

I hope it helps and all the best.

Thanks Flowergirl this makes sense. I wish I was more outgoing, but it looks like things aren't going to change so quickly, I still have a long way to go. Having my progressed planets in Capricorn is great for achieving my goals, but not so great with people. People aren't attracted to that serious Capricorn vibe (especially when you're a teen). I did notice that when my ascendant progressed into Pisces I became interested in astrology & other spiritual subjects. I also became a big cry baby (which I hate!). Well, I can't wait for my planets to progress into Aquarius...I wonder how that will be like.

Yes, there's a few things.

For one, I'd calculate your Sun/Mars to be in the 12th house.

The Saturn Moon conjunction, that Flowergirl rightly points to, does seem to be a factor in making one introverted.

Capricorn ascendant tends to be reserved

Things get better when you work out that the teenage way of doing things is actually kinda stupid. Generally speaking, anything Saturn related improves after maturity.

There's nothing wrong with being introverted. Usually when you do make friends, they tend to be deep and exclusive friendships, rather than the kind of 'humming bird flitting between flowers' model of socialisation that extroverts seem to favour.

When did you start to take an interest in astrology?

Your ascendant at 5 is first decan Aquarius it has some capricorn energy.

Your Sun is 3rd Decan Sagittarius co-ruled by leo, and has some capricorn energy at 26 degrees.

Your mars is actually a Sag-Cap cusp at 28 degrees so the co-ruler is Saturn. Sag-Cap archetype is usually more introverted.

Your mars makes connections to saturn and the moon in the 1st house which is more visible in your expression than other houses. The moon makes a square to pluto in scorpio automatic penetrationality.

With sun and mars in the 11th you do have some quiet popularity like some collective prominence.

With north node in the 10th near the 9th you are more geared towards career/school.

Overall you can be more outgoing in a functional role with Venus and Mercury in the 10th.

There is also some paradoxicality with your personality at several places for example the sun ruling the 7th house with virgo/leo.

Or jupiter an expansive planet in scorpio a penetrating sign.

Or Uranus another more social planet being in capricorn ruling the first with aqua-pisces.

Its more introverted about being extroverted, but dont expect more flamboyant expressions unless you do drugs. Yeah you'll definetly go through different developments (MC in Sag)

Moon in Pisces in 1st house.
Your Emotional Nature is founded on Sacrifice and is directed towards Self-Mastery. The Moon in Pisces suggests a quiet, retiring, easy-going, super-sensitive, poetic and mild emotional nature. You can be restless, easily depressed, changeable, irresolute and easily discouraged by obstacles and opposition. To some degree you lack a matter-of-fact, practical and common-sense approach to life - by temperament, you are more emotional than intellectual. Psychic ability is indicated and you may be drawn to subjects such as religion, mysticism and spiritual growth. Music, poetry and romantic literature will have a soothing and therapeutic effect upon your inner self. Easily hurt, you seek emotional security through periods of peace and seclusion. You may need to learn how to respond constuctively to your own feelings and needs...

With the Moon in the First House your feeling, instinctive nature will find expression through personal interests related to self-awareness and a search for true social identity. A healthy self-image and socially presentable physical appearance are important to your emotional confidence. Your day-to-day response to circumstance is strongly conditioned by emotional factors - lack of direction, moodiness, over-sensitivity and changeability are the dangers. This is just one reason why you feel shy.

Thank you all for your help! I guess it is my progressed stellium in capricorn & my saturn in the 1st house that makes me reserved. Maybe I might be outgoing in my adult years...I hope so, it will require plenty of work. I've never felt like a sag. so I was surprised when I got into astrology & found out that my natal planets are mostly sag.
