What was the chart/question about?
Antares here could just be about giving up on the subject of something, thinking of ending something, cycles ending and a time to move on.
Antares is directly opposite Aldebaran....Aldebaran being about the spring equinox of new cycles starting, so being opposite Antares is associated with the Autumn equinox about cycles ending.
For one, Antares is forceful, and martial. Temperamentally being located in Sagittarius and with its own intrinsic nature makes it "very hot". Obstinacy, sudden incidents and unforeseen events, violence, "the heart of the Scorpion". How would one approach a health reading with this star located on the ascendant (the body)?
Note that Robson states that its a harbinger of sickness when rising.
I asked 'Do I Have Cancer' and the AC was directly conjunct Antares and I remembered when that Malaysian plane disappeared and astrologers remarked how Antares was conjunct AC at the time of departure and that always stuck with me. They said it meant the plane was destined to crash and nothing could have prevented it. I am just learning this type of astrology.
So with my latest blood tests revealing even higher white cell count (had 3 now in a month and each time getting higher and higher very quickly.
Doctor has referred me to a specialist as he said it shows some sort of blood disorder. I'm thinking it could be leukemia or something like that or some other blood cancer?
Thanks.
The way I was thinking about it was that Antares is doing unto you, instead of Antares being you. So, not being a professional in the health care industry I'd say that at the very least this is something that indicates more attention to your health. If you update with what you've heard from the doc, we could see if Antares has any implication in the diagnosis (if any)
Antares rising can tend to blindness, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. It is the rival of Mars, and can cause Mars-like disease and injury. Could it be infection or auto-immune disease that's driving your white count up?
I have Antares rising natally, and an utterly corrupt Mars. Can't count the times I've been in hospital for months on drugs of last resort for some near-fatal infection that (almost) nobody gets, and have had all kinds of blood problems because my blood just doesn't seem to work right. I'm mostly blind, but that's going off natal, NOT a horary.
You might want to look at your current SR and lunar returns, and see if anything pops there, as well as in your natal chart, of course.
For a medical horary, look at what attacks the ascendant, look at the ascendant ruler, and the dispositor of the ascendant ruler, as well as the moon. Those should help you track down the cause of illness, but it's difficult to translate some of that into modern diagnoses. It's a starting point, though. Physician is the seventh house, the tenth house is the medicine or cure and how useful it might be.

Very sorry to hear this. An analysis of your birthchart would be of value for medical astrological purposes.
Yes, go ahead and either send it to me or post it here.
I'll make it 6:50 AM; will take a look and let you know over the next few days; best of luck!
