i often look to 6th house for hygiene
i'm usually right

but this chart is ruled by saturn and has chiron there

this person is the biggest neatfreak i know....he hates messes and clutter

What are you asking? You want us to tell you why you're wrong about the 6th house being an incorrect indicator of messiness? The question seems like it should be "why do I think that the 6th house indicates messiness" lol in all love.

Maybe his refined tastes disallows him to be content in disorganized and "ugly" environments. And his ascendant and AC ruler gives him the personality that would impose itself on the environment without regard for the opinions of others. (high wilfulness)

If I had to pick..Aries MC and Taurus 10th house..all about public view. He's not going to let you see messy..and if he is truly isn't messy it's because his 2nd house of values is in Virgo
