Minor aspects in astrology

Hello All:
As I delve deeper into chart reading, I am now fascinated with the minor aspects in one's natal.
There is little supporting reading information, but here's what I've gathered.

Sesquiquadrate: Square and a half=less offensive than opposition
Inconjunct: tension between two signs
Semi-square: less challening than sesquiquadrate.

Any thoughts on these? I'm trying to decipher the small differences and the role they play. What spurred this interested was that I have a ton of Sesquiquadrate in my chart in aspect to Midheaven.
