Should I get back with my ex?

This is the chart of my ex and myself (Composite) Would it be wise to get back together? I have been entertaining the idea for some time now but unsure what our long-term potential is

This composite doesn't look too promising. With that square from Saturn to the sun and sun-Mercury-Pluto conjunction, this relationship looks very stressful.

Also, consider whether the conditions that led to your break-up are still in place, or whether anything (or either of you) has truly changed.

Are the birth times accurate?
Asking because south node is conjunct the descendent, and squares Chiron. Not particularly promising for a relationship.
The emotional level of the relationship, moon, is in the same degree as the nodes.
And moon squares Venus, so some conflict here as well.
The moon has no other contacts.
Mars trines the mercury/pluto conjunction, but is inconjunct Saturn, a difficult tension to resolve. The square with Jupiter is liveable.
Saturn squares the mercury/pluto making communication between you stilted, plus adds a dimension of power playing between you.
Venus, the affection, shared values, finances, etc, makes no other contact except for the one moon square, so not very strong or integrated.
Then there is Neptune/uranus in a conjunction and sextile the sun bringing a spirituality and Utopian vision to the forefront. You each idealise the other, and the relationship. This is probably why after breaking up and time passing you are now looking back and wondering about coming together again.
A composite, however, is based on the two natal charts. This one only shows what happens when the two are blended, when you are together. But we should really have a look at a synastry chart. What needs do each of you have in a relationship? How do your energies match up? How are the personal planets integrated, are you on similar life paths? All this should be evaluated, not just the composite.

Sorry, don't mean to be picky, but the two natals have the aspects but are two separate charts, it's time consuming to flop back and forth, and the synastry with them all together doesn't have the degrees.
Can you put them all together, a synastry with the aspects and maybe a composite?
Sorry about this request, but it just gets too confusing and takes up so much time.
Thanks.

I am the Libra Sun chart.

Without even looking at the chart, the above says enough. The Libra scales will weigh every action taken before making a final decision, but once it has made it that's it.

Libra is the only sign to think 'consider us' (or me?) or, if really open-minded, the comparison between 'you' and 'I' as separate individuals within any relationship, each with their own personal tastes, likes and dislikes. At its best it can make allowances for them because it is able to see both sides of the same coin. If there's one sign that can figure out 'compatibility', it's Libra. This attitude does not exist within the character of the other 11 signs, for which there is a necessity for Libra to come to realise if it is to work as it should.

Looking at the Libra chart, there's an extremely strong water element that might mean (obsessional) emotional content takes priority above any rationality, also in thought. Feelings are easily hurt and any cut from the mildest slight runs deep. Libra may have yet to learn its value in 'thinking things through before taking action'.

he is the Capricorn Sun
Without looking at the other chart, Capricorn is far from showing feeling, let alone emotion of any kind. It doesn't mean there is none, but the effect in manifested circumstances incline it to build a self-protective wall around both. It lives through a code based upon pure pragmatism and rationality. Whatever it perceives is as it is, which it will judge accordingly. Such an attitude can come across as harsh to the other 11 signs, especially those with strong Cancer and Libra links.

Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are in natural conflict as signs because their perception of the world is totally different. Yet the views of each can help the other in their own further perception of it.
The same goes for people. Expecting another to be and act/react the same as one's self is misleading.

The Uranus-Neptune in Capricorn generation has the freedom of living outside the bounds of the instilled disciplinary rules their previous generations lived with/by. It determines its own rules, or lack of them. It makes each the master of their own fate, yet in an individual manner that best suits him/her, as per the natal chart.

Could the circumstances now lead you to make and/or re-consider and stand behind your decision?

Hi Since you don't have strong aspects to the Sun you shouldn't necessarily be in a relationship with someone else.

And for him it's likewise, he should rather study. (Sag Mercury)

:rightful:

What does a lack of strong aspects to the sun have to do with relationships?

And for him it's likewise, he should rather study. (Sag Mercury)

:rightful:

If that were true, everyone with Sag Mercury would be a lifelong student and avoid relationships.

Thank you, it's much more readable now.
So we have libra, but so to speak libra, because the sun is the only planet in that sign. Granted the sun is personality, ego, individuality, but it is not just the only planet in libra, it is the only air sign in your chart. You have no fire.
You really are very earth and water, aren't you.
Your friend the Capricorn on the other hand is mostly earth and air, with only two water signs, mars and pluto. This is actually important in the balance between the two of you. While you are both well grounded in earth, his air compensates for your lack of intellectual detachment, and your water helps him with emotional sensitivity.
He has moon and mercury in fire, and these are important personal planets, but this is the only fire between you both. A positive balance between two people needs some energy and initiative.
Your suns are in square, but his sun sextiles your mercury, which helps create a basis for understanding and communication.
This is very helpful here because your Venus planets are in square, giving you different tastes, you like different things, you express your affection in different ways which are difficult for each to link into. In addition, your Venus is conjunct generous, abundant, somewhat lazy Jupiter, and they are both square his Saturn that conjuncts his Venus, so he tends to put a damper on your high spirits and blocks your affection.
He emotionally is very fun loving with his sagittarius moon, he's probably a bit of a flirt, in a smooth way, he likes to play, while you are emotionally anchored with your moon in cancer.
You share almost the same mars trine pluto which is very attractive and sexy, and if we add in your Uranus this is magnetic.
However, Uranus square his mars over time will really cause explosions and arguments. It's too much energy bundled together, it causes friction and irritation.
His Uranus and Neptune oppose your cancer moon. This is very romantic and stimulating at the beginning, but when you need him emotionally, he won't be there for you, not because he is faulty but because the combination is just that way, you're on two different levels. With Neptune, you don't see him as he is, and he will tend to delude you, and to keep his Uranus-loving freedom he can deceive you.
With aires on the descendent you look for a martian type partner, but his mars opposing his Neptune/uranus will give him a bit of a temper, but he really doesn't have any mars qualities.
Both pluto planets are on his midheaven, opposing the IC of domestic life, so this is the stage where your differences will play out and conflict will come to a head. You will both try to be the head of family, and that doesn't usually work out too well.
With Uranus and Neptune in your 4th you tend to have an unsettled home life, and his Uranus and Neptune there as well will increase this tendency.
If we look at the composite, we see this Uranus/neptune energy again.
Sun is conjunct mercury reflecting that nice sun trine mercury, but these are conjunct pluto, where the power plays come into effect, and square Saturn putting a tight lid on the vitality and communications. There is also Venus square moon bringing up the differences in emotional sensitivity and comfort zones.
So, what do you think? Should you get back with your ex?

No I don't think it will work in the long-run. You are right about us both trying to be heads of the household. We are evenly matched with no one wanting to be second to the other and never agreeing on how things should be done.

and never agreeing on how things should be done.

Sun, Mercury and Pluto in the Composite 12th House is enough for me to say you are better off letting this one go. You will undoubtably bring out the worst in each other or at least feel that way and not understand why. With another, life could be sooo much better.
