So I have a question.

Saturn talks about "growing up" as a way of maturing meaning the way society sees it. No partying blindly, no more screwing around, etc.

What about for people that "matured" early in terms of getting good grades, getting good jobs, but never really had much of a youth or were victims of strict parenting which meant no partying and messing around for them?

What does Saturn return have in store for them?

The guy entering his 30s a virgin.

The guy who never got to party and have fun in his youth.

Probably nothing. Saturn returns are not necessary. It is sufficient to observe transiting Saturn with profections.

That may have little to do with Saturn.

Is it a day chart or night chart?

What body rules the Ascendant, and in what house/sign is it located and what aspects?

What body rules H7, and in what house/sign is it located and what aspects?

What body rules H5, and in what house/sigh is it located and what aspects?

Where are Mars/Sun in your chart, what houses do they rule and in what signs/houses are they located and what aspects do they make?

Where are Moon/Mercury in your chart?

All those questions must be answered before you even begin to think about blaming Saturn for something he probably didn't do in the first place.

No it doesn't. It simply means maturing. You get to define maturing in whatever way it means to you.

Some people who've been partying blindly and screwing around in their twenties continue doing so in their thirties. Now, if they really are partying blindly, instead of just going out and having a good time on a regular basis while also doing something meaningful with their life, they'll probably get tired of it. If they're just partying for fun, not as a substitute for having a meaningful life in all ways, that's different.

That's someone who saw the harsh face of Saturn very early. Saturn return is, in that case, an opportunity to revisit that, and maybe change their relationship to Saturn. That might be when the native enters therapy and gets serious about their healing. That might be when the strict parent dies or becomes incapacitated, and then the native has to confront the meaning of that relationship. That might even be a break free opportunity.

Remember this case? When the kids were set free, the oldest was 29. Saturn return age.

Saturn return is also a time to confront and possibly change limiting beliefs.
