Re: Playlist of the Week(music)

An alternate version...most excellent in its' own right.
They were called "The Thinking Mans' Rock Band" and they became followers of Paramahansa Yogananda's teachings in the 70s [as I recall]...they were my old friend and varsity tennis team mate, from my High School & College days, Keshav's fav. band...and Keshav was a follower of Yogananda's teachings until He became a chela of Swami Muktananda [Well, he was a "Thinking Man" had an I.Q. of well over 140. The consummate prankster ..haven't heard from Keshav in over a dozen years. I don't know if He is still among the living. I hope you are doing well...somewhere...old friend.]

Yes - "Shoot High Aim Low" - 2nd take
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imfiT...eature=related

...another alternate version of a fine Yes tune...
The video is supreb...beautiful Astrological Signs in rendition...worth pulling out the 'Screen Snipper'...!

My fav. musician of all time...known as "Diogenes with a guitar".
I own the vinyl this tune is from...I asked my room mate [whom I give to him his own bedroom and private bath] to digitalize this for me over two years ago...
[I think I might just kick his sorry a$$ to the curb...]

I love this tune...got a raga beat...makes me do Kirtan... I'm a happy boy now that someone finally uploaded this on youtube...

Re: Playlist of the Week(music)

It ain't the entire tune, I'm sad to say, but I was lucky to find this much as because of the title of the vid, the uploader gave it.
I find this to be one of the most infectious old tunes there is. If you don't find yourself humming this in the next day or two...consult a doctor...please! [I'm worried about you...]

Ah! I love "Lotus Flower" I can listen to that song over and over again. I'll have to check out some of the others. I listed to Empire of the Sun—not bad.
