Moon incompatibility???

Initially he’s more interested in me than I was to him I’m not sure why, but notice our moons aren’t compatible so would this ruin long term potential?

In your case, even if your Moons are not at all compatible, you have a Moon trine Mercury/Venus which can ease things a great deal. I think Sun-Chiron, Sun-Uranus and Moon-Saturn can make things a little more difficult. Or make you both grow very much.
