Normally there is no deleting of accounts. This is because people commonly delete their accounts after they have stirred up problems and gotten a bad rep, then come back into the Forum under a different user name and stir up problems again.

In extraordinary situations (stalking, attacking, etc.) the Forum Owner can decide to permanently remove your account from the Forum. This is with the understanding that it is a permanent ban and any future entry into the Forum with a different account will be immediately rebanned.

Most members find it easiest to come and go as they please so they always have the option of returning if they decide to.

That also means you will never be allowed to use this forum again. Once you've closed your account, it's strictly against the rules to open a new one. People have been banned for doing that.

Are you 100% sure you want your account closed? If you are, we'll do it. But since it won't be deleted, it will still exist, just be inactive.

There is no way to permanently delete your account. You can ask to have your account closed--if that's what you want, message pwadm, he's the only person with the ability to close accounts--but all that does is make the account unusable. Your posts will still be up.

And only ask for your account to be closed if you're 110% certain you'll never want to use this forum again. We don't reopen closed accounts under any circumstances, and we don't allow people who've closed their accounts to create new ones under any circumstances. If you're any less sure, just stop visiting this forum. If you ever change your mind, that will leave you the option of returning, no matter how long it's been.
