Some astrologers prefer a swift visual analysis of aspects
so aspect lines are useful
those astrologers who do not require aspect lines
can simply ignore them

The software places Part of Fortune on ascendant
thus creates a "Fortuna Chart" easily
including bounds
and that's helpful for traditional beginners

Hi

I am currently trying to do a traditional chart however, I don't know what to choose under the sidereal options. Is there a specific one to choose?

I use and recmmend "...ALDEBARAN 15° TAU..."
scrolling down the list of SIDEREAL AYANAMSA options
it's just above GALACTIC CENTER option

your planets may change signs using SIDEREAL

Hi kaktuzz
Will love the addition of Parans too. Useful especially for those stars further from ecliptic.
For Distribution through the bounds, will hope to have the option to distribute MC or Sun/Moon besides ASC.

Big thanks for the work, enabling astrologers.

Hi!

I still hope to finally implement those parans ... but I'm primarily trying to solve technical server issues of the last days/weeks/months (increasing traffic, database errors and inaccessibility in some foreign countries across the globe) and "thanks" to covid I also have to spent more time with kids at home

= not so many free time to implement new features these days

Hello!

Long time no see :innocent::happy:

I have been working on some kind of "Electional astrology calculator" for searching auspicious dates and charts ... and I'm happy to announce that there is the first public version to try:

horoscopes.astro-seek.com/electional-astrology-election-chart-online-calculator

It´s based on searching dates/charts with "optimal" Moon, Moon Ruler, ASC and ASC Ruler (with both traditional and modern rulerships) ... and there are available 5 different electional calculators and methods with various search filters, settings, time-ranges and time spans.

- Monthly elections by Moon aspects and Moon ingresses
- Monthly elections by Conjunctions with the Angles
- Weekly elections for a particular 3-hour time span
- Daily elections for a particular date
- Hourly elections for a particular 3-hour time span

1) Zodiacal Releasing calculator has some new options:
2) Zodiacal Releasing + Annual Profections (experimental wheel chart)

- This is the experimental wheel which combines Annual Profections with Zodiacal Releasing

a) Zodiacal releasing events like peak periods, focus periods, LB and pre-LB are displayed in both - a) outer wheel (ZR) and also in the b) inner Profection wheel.

b) This wheel is more graphical - so the second image shows a short legend with explanation of various graphic/colored icons

c) Cameron Cassidy aka Ωmegastrology (who brought this idea) made a nice and short video explaining this tool and how it could be used

2) Zodiacal Releasing + Annual Profections (experimental wheel chart)

3) Circumambulations/Distributions of the Ascendant through the Bounds

https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/distribution-directions-through-the-bounds-astrology-calculator

calculator also has some new options:

a) It can start directing from any 7 Hermetic Lots and can be directed also through the Decans or 9th parts or 12th parts:

b) There is also an experimental new double wheel chart - Circumambulations + Annual Profections (experimental wheel chart)

- This experimental chart displays Distributions through the a) bounds (1st outer wheel) + b) aspects to other planets (2nd outer wheel).

- Bound lords and aspects are displayed also in the inner Annual profections wheel - and they are positioned to match the particular year of event.

- Any optional planet can be set as the ruler and visually highlighted among other planets

#1 Example of default settings: ASC Distributions + Profections + Mercury (ASC ruler) highlighted (cca 0-100 life-time years)

#2 Example: Time-key "Year (per degree)" can be switched to Days (per degree)(with 2 options: 360° ~ 360 Days/or/ 360° ~ 365 Days)

which can be used for directing of Solar Return ASC

4) Planetary Hours calculator

https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/planetary-hours-today-astrology-calculator

also has some new options, which can be used to find moments like these:

"find the next time mercury will be on the MC on a wednesday mercury hour"

Calculator has an option to display just particular Days & Hours ... and the ±Δ distance/orb of Hour ruler to the angle MC/ASC
a) Calendar -> Monthly Mercury days & hours
b) Display Δ distance/orb to Angles -> Δ to MC/ASC

-Δ is applying to MC/ASC
+Δ is separating from MC/ASC

distance lesser than <15° (close to the MC) is highlighted :geek:

Traditionally, aspects are important
conjunction is technically not an aspect
because adjacent planets are close and "do not see" each other
the word aspect is based on denoting the action or a way of looking
derived from Latin aspectus, from aspicere ‘look at’
from ad- ‘to, at’ + specere ‘to look’
Is conjunction then like aversion? I only have conjunctions in my chart 2 stelliums

No a conjunction with planets in the same sign is a conjunction. A conjunction however is not considered an aspect.

Planets are averse when they are one sign [or 5 signs] apart. That is why planets close by but in different signs to my thinking are not conjunct because they are averse.
