will I be able to recover from the trauma and become what I was once ?

will I ever heal my soul from the trauma I've suffered 7 months ago?

7 months ago, I suffered from a trauma ... I could not resist the temptation and I had an unusual sexual experience that eventually materialized into a trauma for seven months ... now starting to recover but I still am not the same as I was once ... my question is if I am going to ever be like I was before that episode or I will remain as I am now...
