However I disagree, I see it as the sign the moon is in is the mode it is in, and thus it has the most dominance over the moon, whereas the aspects are energys that serve as heavy influences over that mode, but don't actually change the mode itself, but rather influence it.
Expression of what the moon feels is only done by the moon and any planets it is in aspect to, what makes you think otherwise? I mean why would it be anything else other than that anyways?
Well now I see what you mean here. But you are making a mistake. What you are doing is taking the concept behind decans and calling it cusps, when they are completely different.
Cusps = the first and last 2 degrees of a sign
Decans = the three subdivisions between each sign of the zodiac
The more we progress through capricorn decan 1, the closer we get to capricorn decan 2, however this doesnt mean that the closer we get to the next decan, the more of its influence becomes present.
While you are right that the zodiac works like a color-spectrum, what that doesnt necessarily prove is that decans work the same. For all we know you only will feel any of the next decans influence once you reach it.
From what I've observed of many people in my life for years now, decans are definitely real and, on a side note, easiest to see present on sun signs.
But it is indeed hard to say if cusps even work at all with the idea of decans.

No, I think we're in agreement that the sign of the moon is its most important astrological characteristic. What I was drawing a distinction between was feeling vs. expressing. You can be full of emotional feeling and not express a thing outside yourself. And whether emotions are dealt with internally or externally, the expression can be productive or destructive.
I think as Pisces moons we get pinged with more emotional energy than less sensitive moons (many say that's because we soak up and experience emotional vibrations that don't even belong to us), and I think we have less natural distance between having a feeling and acting upon a feeling than many other moons (but fire moons probably have that worse.) That gives us the opportunity to get much better at dealing with emotions than someone who experiences fewer. We get more opportunities to become adept at recognizing emotions in ourselves and others and knowing when an emotional response is appropriate or out-sized.
P.S. For what it's worth, I do identify pretty strongly with the Aquarius/Pisces cusp now that I read it.

LOL
You suggested that I should look into cusps for my moon, and now you say they don't mean anything. I did look for descriptions for the moon placed at the cusp, but unsurprisingly, I didn't find anything. Are you sure you're not just here to argue for the sake of it?
I have found the decans to be pretty useless.

Ok, so why would you use descriptions of cusps on a sun to determine if cusps exist and if your moon is on a cusp?
Well I have observed countless people with same sun but different decans and amongst all of them they all seemed to act according to there sun decan description. So I'm going off of my observations only.

Mostly, I was humoring what you said, because I like to look at new things and see if they appeal to me. I was reminded (because the description was familiar) that I have looked at the Aquarius/Pisces cusp issue before, but I stopped pursuing it then because I only found cusp info for sun placements, not for moon or Mars, which are the ones I have on the cusp.
Have you read descriptions of particular cusp placements other than sun? If not, why'd you bring it up?
Some people swear by the decans. They just haven't matched up well when I've looked for myself or others. I also like to have a reason for using a technique, and I don't get the reasoning behind decans.

Re: Anyone else hate having a shitty moon?
Wow pisces moon in the 12th.
I'm really sorry that you feel that way about your moon but please take good care of it, and you!. Learn to express it as that helps with negative emotions.
You said that you were sensitive and alongside that you mentioned weak "sensitive/weak". Sensitive isn't weak - to me its a strength actually. I love it when I speak to people and I notice that s/he can see through the facade..and intuitively tune into others around them. Everyone wants to be understood and I think that is one of those things that your moon has to offer but before you understand others then first know yourself.
I know you don't feel that way now but later you will learn to appreciate it -the greatest blessings are often so well disguised that you won't know until later.
ps. Aries rising are one of those I do admire so even though it makes you appear to have this shield then just remember.. everyone has a mask
(I'm pretty jelly of your moon btw).

Oh okay, well I think we can both agree that this area of astrology is far too complex to figure out, at least for me, so lets just leave it be.
Why exactly do you not get the reasoning behind the decans?

Why would anyone be jealous of my moon? I have the worst moon ever, and thats coming from me, who knows myself better than anyone else, afterall I am myself.
Sensitivity is weakness, but only when it lowers your rationality/logic/thinking. Sensitivity is only good when it doesnt and works well with your rationality.
The only way for your sensitivity to work well with your rationality is for them to be in a harmonious aspect with each other.
Sensitivity is heightened with water energy on the moon and water energy on the mercury.
My aries rising makes me appear not how I am inside, and it also made me be born with a fast metabolism, which is something that makes me convert my food into energy much quicker than the average person, as a result I am always hungry when no one else is. So if anything, my aries rising *****. And thats not even the worst placement in my chart, not even close.

Re: Anyone else hate having a shitty moon?
IMO, logic, when it leads to escepticism and pessimism, is a weakness.
Your "shitty" moon can make a soft aspect with the Venus of a very attractive and smart girl. Only then will you consider your Moon useful?
My "shitty" aspect is Venus quincunx Neptune.

Re: Anyone else hate having a shitty moon?
Also, your screen name reminds us all that your natal chart is always EVOLVING>
Your natal Moon in late Pisces in the 12th, is ever evolving, through progression and transits.
Perhaps you can draw up your progressed chart, and meditate upon it, as an evolved natal chart. Your Moon will now have some different aspects and you will have those new opportunities to grow into.

Re: Anyone else hate having a shitty moon?
I think I can explain a little bit of why you are feeling so horrible about your Moon.
Asc in Aries but Mars in Pisces and 12H. This seems to me like a mismatch of need. You want to be able to go out and do what you want, but at the same time you are uncomfortable with being assertive. You would resort to indirectness instead, but that's not what your Aries likes. So you feel as if you are a walking time bomb full of contradiction.
Moon squares Cap MC. You want to retreat to a safe place where you are able to create a fantasy world, but your MC wants to put itself out there and gain respect. This causes tension between your Moon and MC. And since your Moon is in a "weaker" sign and house and doesn't have as many aspects as the MC, the Moon feels like it's the weaker one.
Oh, and also don't forget the Saturn/Mercury one. Even with good aspects, Saturn can cause a certain amount of self-doubt.
Luckily your Moon trines NN. Whatever you want to achieve with your NN you will be sure your Moon have your back
Oh, and Uranus is the final dispositor of both Moon and Mars and it's in its own sign and house. You will feel a lot of Uranus influence for your Moon.

Well ASC isnt what makes me think that way, as only one's moon and mercury do that. Rather, the ASC is how I appear to others, which can have it's side effects, like its creation of my self-perception, as it will make others see me a certain way, and I will pick up on this and realize that they see me that way, and also they will respond a certain way based on their impression of me.
Although my ASC is what causes me to have a fast metabolism, which does way more bad than good for my sociability. I went more in depth on this issue in my last post.
As for everything else you wrote, I 100% agree. Most accurate depiction of me and helped shine some light on what I wasn't noticing here and there. Thank you!
Also, a question. Would you say it's possible to change my natural emotional strength?

Re: Anyone else hate having a bad moon?
You can make your Moon work for you, if you learn to embrace its traits.
Apart from being in Pisces and 12H, it also sextile Neptune. Moon is extremely strong in imaginative power. If you are interested in any kind of art, do it. Both Mars and Moon need a creative outlet for their tension.
Sun and Merc being the most elevated planets and MC in Cap, plus Neptune and Uranus in 11H. I think you could do well publishing your work of art on the internet.

Well if you mean that I can't change my emotional durability but can use my emotional sensitivity as an advantage, then that certainly answers the question.
Well never been too into art, but always have loved music and have even started making music.

Re: Anyone else hate having a bad moon?
Music IS art. I'm speaking of art in general, not just painting and stuff.
Do you have any vision for the future? Cap MC is pretty devoted to their future career. With Mercury so high up there, I assume you want something to do with songwriting?

Well I don't want to at the moment, but I can certainly see myself being a songwriter if I wanted to.

I hope you are able to make a name being a songwriter. It certainly pleases your Pisces placements and Mercury

I can't comment on that sorry. I haven't got to see a real relocation reading in action yet.

Based on my own experience, I would say yes. I don't live near my birth place, and to give a small example, my relocated ascendent lends me a different behaviour, the way I present myself to others, and when I return "home" to my birth place I can feel my natal ascendent come back into play. Subtle differences but yes, they are there.

And my moon is square my midheaven in cap, semi square my uranus in aquarius which is in the 11th, opposite my ceres which is in libra and in the 6th, and sesqui-quadrate my retrograde pallas in Leo which is in the 5th house.
Now heres where it becomes incredibly complex. What we also have to consider is the aspects on the planets that are in aspect to my moon are. Ignoring those though, its pretty obvious that my moon is garbage, wouldnt you agree?
If it weren't for my mercury (my mind and rational thinking and my logic) being very rational and logic oriented, I would be not only emotionally weaker than almost any one in the history of mankind, but I would also be mentally weaker as well.
Any thoughts?

Yeah well sucked to be me due to my moon being so weak, until I mastered it and grew my emotional strength through various methods.

Oh okay. Well how long have you lived there? Because I've heard that the longer you are in the new place, the more prominent the effects become.
