Empty 12th house

Hello,
Im looking at a chart with an empty 12th house. Its on the Leo cusp which Leo is ruled by the Sun. Sun is in the 10th house (midheaven). Mercury is also in the midheaven.

Aspects to sun:
Sun trine mars
Sun sextile uranus

Can anyone tell me what the empty 12th house means and if its ruled by the sun what the aspects imply? I get that houses with no planets do not necessarily mean its not active but im looking for an interpretation or at least a legit place to look.

Empty houses actually suggest very little by themselves.

You say that Leo is on the cusp of the house, though?

The most basic interpretation would be something like this, something suggesting 12th house affairs would have a Leo character:

Now, the position of the Sun itself can tell you a little more. Since the ruler of the 12th house is in the 10th house, that interpretation is also important. 12th house affairs being ruled by the 10th house. The sign of the 10th house could also also important.

It's really hard to find information on this. There used to be a lot more data, but I started seeing all these copyright claims, and then it got harder to find stuff. :/

Thanks athenian! I got stuck too, I could not find much either... :\ I find with astrology, I can pull the pieces together if I try hard enough however, its the interpretation and analysis I struggle with.

An empty 12th House just means that there are no influences from other Houses that have to be factored in. And since the ruler of the 12th is in the 10th, it means that 12th House topics will have to be factored in to 10th House interpretation and affect 10th House topics, i.e. the immaterial stuff will play a role in his career. And since the 12th House ruler is Sun, it will play an important role.
