The internal medicine specialist father-of-five
was beaten and dragged off an overbooked United flight
as CEO pens 'tone deaf' email DEFENDING staff.
The passenger dragged from United Airlines flight is 69-year-old grandfather Dr David Dao.
Footage of the Vietnamese-American being hauled off the overbooked flight at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport on Sunday caused outrage on Monday.
Dr Dao was heard in videos captured of his shocking eviction
saying he needed to get home to Louisville so he could see patients.

DailyMail.com can reveal Dr Dao is a father of five and a grandfather
who specializes in internal medicine. Four of his five children are doctors.
His wife Teresa, 69, is a pediatrican who trained at Ho Chi Minh University in Saigon
and also practices in Elizabethtown, Kentucky - about 40 miles south of Louisville.
Their eldest son Tim, 34, practices medicine in Texas;
their second son Ben, 31, is a medical graduate;
their daughter Christine, 33, is a doctor in Durham, NC;
and their youngster daughter Angela, 27, is a medical graduate of the University of Kentucky.

Dr Dao has previously worked at Hardin Memorial Hospital and owned a medical practice.
His identity has been revealed after United CEO Oscar Munoz
doubled down on his airline crew's decision to remove an elderly passenger, claiming he was 'disruptive and belligerent'.

Amidst the anger, Munoz issued a public apology
saying he 'apologized for having to re-accommodate these customers.'
But in a private email to employees, the CEO defended the crew's actions,
calling the passenger 'disruptive and belligerent'
and praising his staff for going 'above and beyond'.
Social media erupted immediately, labeling Munoz and United 'tone deaf' and 'condescending'.
Munoz said that while he was 'upset' to hear about the man being violently dragged off the flight
that airline crew had simply been following 'established procedures.'

The CEO described how flight crews had offered up to $1,000 in compensation
for anyone willing to catch the next flight :smile:
before approaching the passenger to 'explain apologetically' that he was being denied boarding.
He had then 'raised his voice and refused to comply' with the crew's requests to leave the aircraft
and became increasingly 'disruptive and belligerent,' he said.
'Our agents were left with no choice, but to call Chicago Aviation Security Officers
to assist in removing the customer from the flight

The Daily Mail will pay damages to settle a libel claim
brought against it by the US first lady Melania Trump :smile:
over false claims about her work as a professional model.An agreed statement was read out to Mr Justice Nicol in court 14 of the Royal Courts of Justice on behalf of both parties.
The newspaper will pay Trump damages, but the amount was not disclosed.
The statement said the article published in a double page spread last summer included

“false and defamatory claims about Mrs Trump
which questioned the nature of her work as a professional model
and republished allegations that she provides services beyond simply modelling”.

The statement, read out by solicitor John Kelly, of the law firm Harbottle and Lewis, added:

"The article included statements that Mrs Trump denied the allegations
and Paulo Zampolli, who ran the modelling agency, also denied the allegations
and the article also stated that there was no evidence to support the allegations.
The article also claimed that Mr and Mrs Trump may have met three years before they actually met
and ‘staged’ their actual meeting as a ‘ruse’.
These allegations about Mrs Trump are not true.”

The original Daily Mail story was published on 20 August 2016 under the headline

“Racy photos and troubling questions about his wife’s past that could derail Trump”.

The statement added:

The allegations strike at the heart of the claimant’s personal integrity and dignity.
The claimant has not acted as alleged. The suggestion that such allegations even merit investigation is deeply offensive
and has caused a great deal of upset to the claimant.

Catrin Evans QC, for the Daily Mail owner Associated Newspapers
told the court that everything in the statement was accepted by the newspaper.

The allegations have been retracted and withdrawn, she added.

The retraction and apology, which will be published in the Daily Mail and on its website, reads:

"We accept that these allegations about Mrs Trump are not true
and we retract and withdraw them.
We apologise to Mrs Trump for any distress that our publication caused her.
To settle Mrs Trump’s two lawsuits against us, we have agreed to pay her damages and costs."

Harvard-Harris survey provided exclusively to The Hill shows
Bernie Sanders is viewed favorably by 57% of registered voters
 Sanders is the only person in a field of 16 Trump administration officials
or congressional leaders included in the survey
who is viewed favorably by a majority of those polled.
White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon is by far least popular political figure in the poll
with only 16% viewing him favorably
compared with 45% having a negative view of him.

to try to soften and normalize barbaric bombing by using manipulative words.
A ridiculous CNN clip about Tomahawk missiles
is essentially a massive, glorified advertisement for waging more war.
MSNBC and Fox News both gush over missile strikes and praise Trump for them.

Lee also gets into how churches and religious institutions of all kinds
get to skip out on paying billions upon billions of dollars in taxes every year.
This would possibly be somewhat understandable
if they were actually using most of their money for charity

Michelle Obama Just Tried To Register To Run For President But Was DENIED!

Michelle Obama tried to register to run for President in 2020
with the Secretary of State’s office this morning
the first step on a long to-do list to get a person on the ballot.
Once certified as a potential candidate
the process of gathering signatures and getting on the ballots in the individual states begins

The State Department’s only job is to make sure that the Presidential candidate
meets the three constitutional requirements to be president :smile:

As a child, Michelle Obama’s legal residence was in the British Virgin Islands.
Her parents kept it that way so she would be eligible for immigrant status
and special consideration for schooling.
Between birth and age 22, when she graduated college
Michelle Obama had only racked up two years of legal, US residency.
After college, in order to avoid paying taxes
she kept an address in the Cayman Islands from which she filed all of her tax returns.
Therefore, none of the years between the time she graduated
and the time she became First Lady count either.
While in the White House, the Obamas filed joint returns
giving her another seven years of residency.
At nine years of residency, she is ineligible to be president.
She will qualify in 2021
so she will miss the next cycle
and we won’t have to watch her campaign for the next four years.
