Can this be used as an angle to find angular planets in your experiences?

Planets or points on the East Point and West Point are themselves in an exact 90° square in space to the MC/IC axis.

Planets or points on the Zenith or Nadir are in an exact 90° degree square in space to the Asc/Desc axis.

When I look at angles, I look at them as energy zones, rather than points. (Thus giving an orb about >1/3 of the house the planet next to the angle is in). I don't use aspects to angles, however using East/west point gives me a wider possibility of planets to look at as angular.
