Venus Conjunct Venus (synastry)

I have a Venus Conjunct Venus (exact) aspect in synastry, with my best friend of all time! When I am around him, I feel safe, calm and loved. sometimes I think i'm gay, because we are pretty free about our words. If we haven't seen each other for a day, it's like I'm missing something. I've never had this kind of friendship.

There is very little else in the synastry between us. That is actually the only relevant aspect with Venus.
The only relevant thing left is mars trine sun (orb 5) in our synastry

Is this Venus Conjunct Venus the indicator for this strong bond? And what can you say, about this aspect?

Venus conjunct Venus may be one reason you feel so comfortable with each other, but it takes the entire synastry, of the entire charts, to show the quality of the relationship. There must be other strong connections between your charts, not just this one. Even if the conjunction is the only aspect you have involving your Venus and his, there have to be additional ways your charts communicate with each other's.
